Our Golden Itinerary (Two Days of Adventure!)
We are squeezing every drop of beautiful light out of this weekend! (The schedule is flexible based on the weather and the best light, of course!)
Before the Workshop: We'll hop on a quick half-hour Zoom call to go over some basic photography fundamentals. This ensures we hit the ground running on Day 1!
🍂 Day 1: Lake Wenatchee to Leavenworth
Early Bird Gets the Worm: We start at beautiful Lake Wenatchee State Park in the early morning light. We’ll nail those basic settings, talk gear, and practice composition.
Scenic Route: We’ll explore the park and then cruise down Highway 2, hitting known favorites and little-known spots to capture awesome compositions and peak fall colors!
Sunset & Sparkle: After checking into our lodging and grabbing an early dinner, we’ll head out to the river for a breathtaking sunset photo session!
Optional Night Shoot: If you're feeling energetic, we can grab our tripods and photograph the charming, illuminated town of Leavenworth at night! Sleep well!
☀️ Day 2: The Heart of Leavenworth & River Views
Sunrise Start: We greet the day with a river sunrise, then enjoy a relaxed walk along the riverfront parks and trails, including Enchantment Park and Blackbird Island.
Lunch Break: We’ll take a break for an early lunch (together or solo—totally up to you!).
River Exploration: The afternoon takes us to the Wenatchee River Institute, followed by a scenic drive up Icicle Road where we will focus on photographing the river and experimenting with long exposure techniques!
Farewell: We wrap up the workshop in the early afternoon so you can get home at a decent hour. Feel free to revisit any spot on the drive back for extra practice!
Post Workshop Follow-Up: We’ll schedule a one-hour Zoom call to share our favorite images, go over some simple editing tips, and offer gentle critiques and feedback (only if you want them!).
