1. Once the event is complete, the remainder of your takings will be paid into your account usually no later than 7 days after the event
2. Your takings will be held in the accounts of the event’s bars and concessions contractor, Barworx Limited (Company Number: 15438787), and ringfenced accordingly for your protection.
3. You are responsible for your VAT payments where applicable.
4. You will be issued two EPOS terminals and one charging cable. The terminal's battery life is approximately 8 hours.
5. Failure to return both terminals and the power cables at the end of the event will incur a fine of either £150 (for the terminal) or £25 (for the charging cables).
6. You will receive the terminals and receive a training session on how to use them before the event opens. The terminals will be preprogrammed with your menus, and we will provide you with full training on how to use them.
7. All transactions must be run through the terminals.
8. Barworx reserves the right to search all vehicles upon arrival and at any time during the event. Personal POS terminals and independent Wi-Fi routers are not permitted on site and will be confiscated if found.
9. Barworx reserves the right to conduct ad hoc audits during trading hours. Anyone found using the POS terminals improperly or in any way in contravention of the terms laid out herein will face financial penalties.
10. Traders must comply with the following sustainability conditions:
a. With the aim of promoting responsible environmental practices, it is established that all packaging and utensils used by traders during the festival must be biodegradable.
b. All traders agree to comply with the recycling and waste management measures in place at the event.
c. Upon arrival for siting, all traders must pay a cash site bond of £150 before be being allowed on site.
d. Failure to comply with any of the event’s sustainability policies during the event will result in Barworx retaining your site bond.
e. When departing, you agree to return your pitch to us in the same condition it was when you arrived – rubbish sorted and neatly stacked or taken to the bins; no waste oil, empty gas cylinders or scrap materials; grey water disposed of in the IBCs provided; no excessive amounts of waste food in any containers other than bin bags as mentioned above; and no negligent damage to the ground or your surroundings.
11. Traders agree to comply with local authority and event standards and safety policies. If a trader is found to be non-compliant, Barworx reserves the right to deduct funds from trader revenue held post-event to cover any resulting costs.
12. All staff members must receive the proper training required to undertake their role at the event.
13. All staff must comply with the site safety rules and conduct guidelines. Any member of staff found to be in contravention of these will be removed from the site.
By signing below, you agree that you have read and understood the above arrangements for trading at this event.
