  • Homeschoolers! Join us for our 1st Annual Equine Dental Check-Up & Learning Day!

    Monday, September 8th
Farm opens at 9:30 AM | Class begins at 10:00 AM
Cost: $25 per participant (youth & adults) — Registration required

Join us for our annual dental check-ups for our equine farm friends!
McCarthy Equine Services will be on-site to provide a unique, hands-on learning opportunity for homeschoolers and families. Youth will have the chance to:

    Observe real equine dental exams
Learn about horse anatomy and dental care
Ask questions directly to the equine dental professional
We’ll also have activity stations, including:

An art project to complete at the farm or take home
A STEM challenge featuring sugar cubes

    What to Expect:
Plan to spend about an hour observing, learning, and engaging with the activities. Please note that there will be no farm tours during this event—our focus will be on the equine dentist and his patients.

Important: Space is limited to ensure a calm, safe environment for the horses.

  • When you Arrive:

  • Please drive slowly down our drive way.  Once you pass the house on the left you will go through the back gate and park. Walk through our goat area up to the check-in gate. Below is a map of Lil' Bit of Life so you know what to look for ahead of time.

Thank you! We are looking forward to making everyone's day complete!

-Tracey Rinehart, our team, and our 4 legged friends

By signing our waiver, you as the participant acknowledge that you're aware of inherent risks you undertake when taking part in the activity. Please remember that we are a farm. The farm has dirt, animals, poop, allergens, and a host of other potentially harmful hazards. We do our best to keep animals who are kind and reduce/remove potential hazards, but we are still a working farm. Enter the farm at your own risk - and enjoy your visit!
