MEMBER SCHOOLS ARE LIMITED TO 6 TOTAL COACHES PER SCHOOL.

EACH MEMBER SCHOOL CAN HAVE 1 HEAD COACH AND A MAXIMUM OF 5 ASSISTANTS -OR- 1 BOYS HEAD COACH, 1 GIRLS HEAD COACH AND A MAXIMUM OF 4 ASSISTANTS (6 TOTAL COACHES).

3.4.6 A school shall be limited to five non-faculty coaches per sport and not more than 24 non-faculty coaches total per school year.

All non-faculty coaches must have completed the NFHS fundamentals of coaching course by December 4th, 2026 to recieve meet credentials. Zero exceptions

THE LHSPLA ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE IS $200

A VALID REGISTRATION FORM MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE ASSOCIATION, ALONG WITH A SCHOOL’S ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE BY DECEMBER 4, 2026

Upon completion of this form by an LHSAA member school and reciept of the schools registration fee of $200, the school will be considered registered with the LHSPLA for the 2026-2027 school year.

All Head Coaches, Athletic Director and Principal will all recieve a confirmation email for their records upon submission of the form.
