  • 🎧 Audiocore Marker Import Guide: Hindenburg

    File Type: .txt
    ────────────────────────────────────────────
    📥 Importing Your Markers:

    1. Open your session in Hindenburg.

    2. Go to: View → Markers
(Ensure the Marker window is visible.)

    3. In the Marker window:
    - Right-click inside the Marker panel and choose **Import**,
    OR
    - Make sure the Marker window is highlighted, then go: File → Import

    4. Select the `.txt` marker file generated by Audiocore.

    5. Markers will appear on the timeline as **yellow markers**.

    ────────────────────────────────────────────

📌 Final Step – Convert to Cue Points:

To upgrade your markers for professional editing:

    1. **Right-click on *any* yellow marker** in the Marker window.

    2. Select: **Convert Markers to Cue Points**

    3. All yellow markers will change to **blue Cue Points** —
ensuring they’re locked to audio and fully editable.

🛑 Skipping this step may result in markers that don’t move with your audio!

    ────────────────────────────────────────────

    📌 Notes:

    - All markers are precisely timestamped in Hindenburg’s expected .txt format.
    - Each entry includes:
    - Timecode (HH:MM:SS.mmm)
    - Marker label (e.g., "FILL – umm", "FOUL – [explicit word]")

    ────────────────────────────────────────────

    🧠 Pro Tip:

✅ Always import markers **before** trimming or rearranging clips.
✅ Cue Points ensure accurate snapping and timeline syncing.
✅ Your edit flow just got way more efficient.

  • 🎧 Audiocore Marker Import Guide: Audacity

    File Type: .txt
    ────────────────────────────────────────────
    📝 Before You Begin:

To keep your markers and audio aligned during editing,
you MUST enable **Sync-Lock Tracks** in Audacity.

    Steps:
    1. Go to: Tracks → Keep Tracks Synchronized
    (This enables Sync-Lock mode.)

    2. Make sure the Label Track and the audio track are both selected when moving clips.

    ────────────────────────────────────────────

    📥 Importing Your Markers:

    1. Open your project in Audacity.

    2. Go to: File → Import → Labels

    3. Choose the `.txt` label file generated by Audiocore.

    4. Your markers (labels) will now appear in a dedicated **Label Track** below your audio.

    ────────────────────────────────────────────

    📌 Notes:

    - Label files use **start time only** — there’s no end time.
    - Each label has a name (e.g., “FILL – umm”) and optional comment data.
    - Audiocore markers are zero-duration by design — perfect for edit points.

    ────────────────────────────────────────────

    🧠 Pro Tip:

With **Keep Tracks Synchronized** enabled, your markers will stay locked
to their corresponding audio even as you edit and shuffle segments around.

  • 🎧 Audiocore Marker Import Guide: Adobe Audition

    File Type: .csv

    ────────────────────────────────────────────
🔄 Importing Your Markers – Two Options:

    1. Multitrack Mode (apply to entire session)
    2. Waveform Mode (apply to individual clips — *recommended*)
    ────────────────────────────────────────────

✅ For Adobe Audition 23.3.0.55 and Later:

You now have the ability to import markers directly into individual clips or into the session timeline.

    Steps:
    1. Open your audio using one of these methods:
    - Multitrack Mode: Open your project as a session.
    - Waveform Mode: Double-click the audio file to open it as a standalone clip.

    2. Go to: File → Import → Markers

    3. Select your .csv file from Audiocore.

    4. Choose your marker placement:
    - Waveform Mode (preferred): Markers become embedded in the clip.
These markers will stay tied to the audio and move with it during editing.
    - Multitrack Mode: Markers are added to the timeline only and remain static.

    ────────────────────────────────────────────

    📦 For Older Versions (pre-23.3.0.55):

Marker import still works — but you need to be more intentional.

    - Waveform Mode (recommended):
✅ You *can* import markers into clips.
Open the audio file directly (not in a session), then use File → Import → Markers.
Markers will stay synced when used later in multitrack.

    - Multitrack Mode:
⚠️ Importing here applies markers to the session timeline.
They will NOT follow the clip if you move it.

    ────────────────────────────────────────────

    🧠 Pro Tip:

Always prefer Waveform Mode when importing markers,
unless you *intentionally* want timeline-level markers.

Clip markers = flexible and safe
Timeline markers = fixed and risky
