Thank you for being willing to partner with us by providing a truck or vehicle. Children and adults from all over Johnston County and beyond have a great time seeing, learning about, and interacting with the trucks and people who operate them each year and we know that this year will be just as successful! We are hoping for a great variety of trucks again, including emergency vehicles, tractors, machinery, construction equipment, farm equipment, service and delivery trucks, and more! Please note:
- Touch-A-Truck will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in Downtown Smithfield.
- 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. is considered quiet hour so that our friends with sensory issues can enjoy the event without horns and lights. Please help us to keep things quiet!
- We ask that all trucks arrive to set up between 7:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Information about your arrival time will be emailed by October 26th.
- All trucks must be accompanied by someone from the organization or company providing the truck who will remain with the truck. Ideally, this should be someone that can answer questions about the truck.
- As this event is called Touch-A-Truck, children will be gently touching your truck in a supervised environment.
After receiving your completed registration form, we will send you a confirmation and be in touch with more information closer to the event.
