Student Waiver for Yoga & Sound Healing Classes

By choosing submit below, I hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the yoga class and / or Sound Healing offered by Jennifer Misterka and NCCP @ Grace United Methodist Church.

I recognize that Yoga is a practice that involves holding passive poses for an extended period, which may cause discomfort or physical strain. I affirm that I am aware of my own physical limitations and I agree to work within them during the class.

I recognize that while yoga and sound healing can offer numerous benefits for physical, mental, and emotional well-being, it may not be suitable for everyone. I understand that it is my responsibility to listen to my body and to inform the instructor of any discomfort, pain, or medical conditions that may affect my ability to participate safely.

I acknowledge that the instructor is not a licensed healthcare professional and that the information provided in the class is for educational purposes only. I understand that the instructor is not qualified to diagnose or treat medical conditions, and I agree to consult with a healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise or yoga program, especially if I have any pre-existing health conditions or concerns.

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Jennifer Misterka, NCCP @ Grace United Methodist Church, or any affiliated individuals or entities for any liability, claims, demands, actions, or damages arising out of or related to my participation in a yoga or sound healing session, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss.

I understand that by signing this waiver, I am assuming full responsibility for any risks associated with participating in the yoga class or sound healing session and I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jennifer Misterka, NCCP @ Grace United Methodist Church and any affiliated individuals or entities from any claims arising from my participation.

I have read this waiver carefully and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to its terms and hereby consent to participate in the gentle restorative yoga class with full knowledge of the risks involved.

Cancellation Notice

We do not offer refunds for missed classes.

Kindly cancel any class that you have signed up for, but cannot attend six (6) hours or more before the scheduled class time to free up the schedule for those on the wait list.

If the class is cancelled for any reason, we will refund your payment or you can choose to use it as credit for a future class.
