VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
Polish Heritage Day – Gloucester

General Information

• The Volleyball Tournament is organised as part of Polish Heritage Day.
• Event date: 9th May 2026.
• Start time: 11:00 AM.
• Location: Gloucester Park, Trier Way, Gloucester GL1 1LF.
• Matches will be played on grass courts.
• Each team consists of 4 players on court.
• Additional substitutes are permitted.
• At least one woman must be on the court at all times during each match.
• The entry fee is £50 per team.

Tournament Format

• The tournament will consist of a group stage followed by knockout playoffs.
• Group stage matches will last 30 minutes.
• The team with the highest number of points at the end of the time limit wins the match.
• In the playoff and final stages, matches will be played as best of three sets (first team to win 2 sets wins the match).
• Matches will be refereed by teams not currently playing.
• Teams must be ready to play at their scheduled match time.
• Any team not present on the court within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time will forfeit the match.

• 1st place – £150
• 2nd place – £100
• 3rd place – £50

Final Provisions

• Participation in the tournament constitutes acceptance of these regulations.
• The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the schedule or format if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
• All participants take part in the event at their own risk.
