  • "Horses healing humans healing horses." - Kim Hallin, Unbridled

In this collaboration with horses, humans and horses share their presence and wisdom, leading to a shared space of renewal for both species. We experience relearning how to be in healthy relationship, reconnecting to self and other, and renewal of hope and freddom to choose health over isolation.

    • Experience the quiet and powerful presence of horses while gaining the benefits of co-regulating with these large and peaceful animals (Studies show being in the presence of horses in a therapeutic manner lowers blood pressure, improved heartrate variability, and reduced cortisol).
    • Gain new insights and perspectives on your own behavioral and thought patterns, particularly as they relate to being in relationship with others (includes family, romantic, friendship, and professional relationships).
    • Make deep connections with other community members. Make a new friend!

Facilitated by Licensed Therapist, Chelsea Green, LPC.

Chelsea utilizes her clinical experience as a couples and family therapist, an equine professional trained in systemic constellations (also called family constellations), and 12+ years of mindfulness meditation and group facilitation to curate an engaging and grounded exploration of what it means to be in healthy relationship.

Healing with Horses: An Experiential Workshop is a unique collaboration between horses and humans. No previous horse experience needed. This workshop does not involve riding horses and all activities will take place on the ground.

    • Workshop participants must wear close-toed shoes for safety to be in close proximity to horses. Participants can choose to enter the field or remain outside of the fence based on individual comfort level. All activities will be guided by Licensed Therapist, Chelsea Green.
    • You may bring a camping chair or blanket to sit on, and any other comfort items for outdoor activities (ex. sunscreen, hat, bug spray, sunglasses).
    • Please bring your own water bottles and snacks for the day!

After registration is complete, the farm address and other day-of details will be shared with you via email from Chelsea Green.

Feel free to contact Chelsea via email directly at chelseagreencmi@gmail.com
