    RP Conference 2026 Registration

  • Each year, the RP Conference convenes institutional research, planning, and effectiveness (IRPE) professionals in community colleges across California to exchange local approaches to common issues, learn about the latest developments in the field, and strengthen relationships within our community. It is a hands-on conference of your peers and by your peers, expanding your research and planning toolkit to help you support your institution's capacity for evidence-based decision-making and inquiry.

    RP Conference 2026 will begin with an IRPE Newcomers session at 8:00 am on Wednesday, April 15, and will kick off for all participants at 9:45 am.

    Schedule:

    • Wednesday, April 15: 9:45 am-6:15 pm (including the reception)
    • Thursday, April 16: 8:30 am-4:30 pm
    • Friday, April 17: 8:30 am-12:00 pm (optional post-conference workshops)

    Included Meals: 

    • Lunch and an evening reception on Wednesday, April 15 
    • Breakfast and lunch on Thursday, April 16
    • Morning and afternoon coffee breaks on both April 15 and 16

  • Special Sessions & Engagement Opportunities

  • An IRPE Newcomers Session will be held for new CCC IRPE professionals (entered the IRPE field in the California Community College system within the last two years) on April 15 from 8:00-9:30 am. A continental breakfast will be provided.

  • Birds of a Feather Discussions: We are planning to host “Birds of a Feather” table discussions during the conference and we would like to find out which topics would be of most interest to you. 

  • Affinity Groups: We are planning to provide an opportunity for affinity groups to meet during the conference.

  • Post-Conference Workshops

  • Optional post-conference workshops will be offered on Friday, April 17, from 8:30 am-12:00 pm for an additional fee. Breakfast and refreshments are included in the registration fee. Find more information about the workshops on our website, including descriptions and presenter lists.

    Fees:

    • Post-Conference Workshop - Member Rate $190
    • Post Conference Workshop - Non-member rate $225

  • Email Preferences

  • All RP Conference 2026 attendees will receive email notifications with information about the upcoming conference and from our conference sponsors (typically, this is a max of one email per sponsor). 

    You may opt out of additional email communications from The RP Group about future IRPE professional development offerings.

  • The RP Group and the California Association for Institutional Research (CAIR) have entered into a partnership that includes sharing attendee contact information from our respective annual conferences. If you would prefer to opt out of communications from CAIR, please check the box below.

  • Payment may be in the form of credit card or check.

    Paying by Credit Card

    Payment may be made by credit card at the time of registration or at a later date. If you would like to pay by credit card at a later date, please select "Check" and then email Lila Tavelli at professionaldevelopment@rpgroup.org when you are ready to pay.

    Check payments are due by April 1, 2026. If you register after April 1 (assuming space is available) and would like to pay by check, please bring a check payment with you to the conference.

  • Cancellations and Refunds

  • Conference registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is considered confirmed once your form is submitted. By completing the registration process, you agree to pay the full registration fee.

    All cancellations must be made in writing via email to professionaldevelopment@rpgroup.org. Non-payment will not result in automatic cancellation of conference registration. Since attendees can register without payment, we have no way of determining cancellations unless specifically notified in writing.

    Cancellation requests received by April 1, 2026, will be refunded in full, minus a $75 administrative fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after April 1, 2026. Note: The administrative fee includes transaction fees assessed by our online registration provider.

    If your check or credit card payment has not been received by your cancellation date, you will be billed for the cancellation fee for cancellations made by April 1, or for the full amount of your registration for cancellations made after April 1.

                    Registration

                    By registering, the attendee acknowledges and agrees that they are participating in the conference voluntarily.

                    Video/Photos

                    Registration and attendance at, or participation in, RP Group Conferences and other activities constitute an agreement by the attendee to The RP Group’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the attendee’s image and/or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.

                    Medical Release

                    While The RP Group does its best to provide the safest possible environment for the event, the attendee acknowledges, freely and knowingly, that, as a result of their registration and participation, they hereby assume responsibility for their own well-being and safety, releasing The RP Group and MeetingWise LLC of any harm.

                    Electronic Recording and Broadcasting 

                    No individual or entity, including a presenter/speaker, may electronically record or broadcast any portion of the RP Conference. Any recording (audio, video, etc.) of presentations during the conference for personal or professional use is strictly prohibited.
