    2026 Concert Band Festival Registration

    The following form will generate an email reply with an invoice or receipt for your records. Please submit the invoice to your admin for payment to complete your registration.
  • 2026 Concert Band Festival Dates:

    Tuesday, February 17 - Friday, February 20, 2026

    NEW: Community Band Registration

    1. Community Bands will be scheduled in the evening between 6:00pm - 9:45pm
    2. Community Bands must hold a Community Band membership in order to receive the MBA member rate. Please visit www.mbband.org/membership for more information.
    3. Community Bands may choose to offset the cost of their registration fees by providing volunteers to help run the festival.
      1. Volunteer slots are approximately 4-5 hours long.
      2. Provide 10 volunteers, and receive 50% off, or 20 volunteers for 100% discount.
      3. Volunteer hours are available on a first come, first served basis.

  • Repertoire Selections:  Titles are required by January 16, 2026. Please complete the form found here.

    Band Biography: Please submit Band Bio by February 12, 2026. Please complete the form found here.

    Adjudicator Scores: You will need 3 original (non-photocopied) scores for festival adjudicators if you choose titles that are not on the current festival syllabus for the class in which you register. Please bring them with you to the festival site.

    For example, if you register in Class 2, and choose to play Nightsong by Saucedo, which is on the Class 2 list, and Abracadabra by Ticheli, which is on the Class 3 list, you will need to provide your own scores for Abracadabra.   • The MBA has adopted a Privacy Policy. Your application or registration for MBA's events or programs as a director, volunteer and/or applicant for a director or volunteer position is your consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes and on the basis outlined in MBA's Privacy Policy. You hereby grant MBA the right and permission in respect of any audio, audiovisual or visual analog or digital recordings (of any nature or kind) of any rehearsal, performance or celebration connected with such event or program in which you or you and others are recorded, to use, reuse, publish and republish any such recording contemporaneously at the time of the recording and for a period of 10 years from the date of the recording, for promotional, fundraising, or educational purposes, without restriction as to alteration and without claim by you for compensation, damages, breach of privacy or libel.

  • Conductors of school bands must be Manitoba Band Association members to qualify for the member registration discount. To become a member, please visit mbband.org/membership

  • Registration includes photo package for the ensemble.

    No GST or PST is charged.

    Please make cheques payable to the Manitoba Band Association.

    The date each payment is received is a significant scheduling consideration. 

    Registration is Non-Refundable after the registration deadline: Friday, November 14, 2025.
