SECTION 8 — Payment & Deposit Policy
Registration Deposit
A non-refundable registration deposit is required to secure your child’s seat in any Aspire program.
Because enrollment is intentionally limited, deposits ensure that reserved spaces are held for committed families.
Deposits are applied toward program tuition but are non-refundable under any circumstances, including schedule changes, withdrawals, or failure to attend.
Step Up For Students (SUFS) Payment Policy
Aspire STEAM Academy accepts scholarship funding through the Step Up For Students (SUFS) program.
To secure enrollment, families are required to submit the Initial Enrollment Payment, which includes the registration fee and the first month’s tuition.
How Tuition Payments Work
• The initial tuition payment made at registration will be credited toward the final month of tuition for the academic year.
• Months 2–10 of tuition are expected to be paid through the Step Up For Students scholarship program.
• Families are responsible for approving and submitting tuition payments through their SUFS account according to the SUFS payment schedule.
Parent Responsibility
Aspire STEAM Academy cannot manage, guarantee, or control scholarship disbursements made through Step Up For Students.
Parents are solely responsible for:
• Maintaining an active SUFS account
• Ensuring scholarship funds are available
• Approving tuition payments within the SUFS portal
• Resolving any issues related to scholarship disbursement
Any concerns regarding scholarship eligibility, payment timing, or funding availability must be addressed directly with Step Up For Students.
Delayed or Missing Scholarship Payments
If scholarship funds are delayed, unavailable, or declined for any reason, the parent/guardian remains financially responsible for tuition payments.
Failure to maintain tuition payments may result in suspension of services or administrative withdrawal, in accordance with Aspire STEAM Academy policies.
Scholarship Changes
If a student’s scholarship status changes, is revoked, or becomes inactive during the school year, families remain responsible for fulfilling all tuition obligations associated with enrollment.
Aspire STEAM Academy partners with Step Up For Students to make tuition accessible; however, families remain responsible for managing and approving scholarship payments through the SUFS system.
Enrollment at Aspire STEAM Academy does not guarantee scholarship funding.
