Summer Retreat in the Mountains!

June 25th-28th, 2026 | Estes Park, CO

The Young Leaders Board of AG Bell is hosting their second annual retreat! Please join us this summer in Estes Park, Colorado for an adult retreat experience from June 25th-28th. We are excited to welcome young adults ages 18 through 40, are deaf or hard of hearing, and who use listening and spoken language (LSL).

Step into a powerful weekend of connection, growth, and leadership with fellow deaf and hard of hearing young adults! From story circles and outdoor adventures to workshops on communication, advocacy, and leadership, this retreat is packed with opportunities to build skills, deepen self-awareness, and have fun. Enjoy nature walks, campfires, team challenges, and time to reflect as you shape your personal leadership vision. Come ready to learn, share, and leave inspired to make an impact.

To secure your spot for the 2026 YLN Retreat, all participants will complete a deposit at registration and a final payment by April. Prices depend on whether you register during the Early Bird or Late Bird period.

Early Bird Registration (January 12th – February 23rd)
Deposit: $100 (due at registration)
Final Payment: $199 (due April 17th)
Total Cost: $299

Your spot is reserved once the $100 deposit is received. The remaining $199 must be paid by April 17th. See cancellation guidelines in the payment portion.

Late Bird Registration (February 24th – April 13th)
Deposit: $125 (due at registration)
Final Payment: $200 (due April 17th)
Total Cost: $325

Registrations submitted during this period require a $125 deposit. The remaining $200 must be paid by April 17th. See cancellation guidelines below.

You will also have the option to make a full payment. Once you make the full payment, your spot is immediately secured.

Cancellations and Refunds:

If you need to cancel your registration for the retreat, the following refund policy applies:
- 14 days after registering: You may cancel and will be refunded.
- 14-30 days after registering: You are eligible for a 50% refund of the amount paid.
- After 30 days: No refunds will be issued.
To cancel your registration, please notify the YLN Coordinator, Emerson Henry by sending a detailed email to youngadults@agbell.org. The email must include your full name, registration details, and the reason for cancellation. The date of the email will determine your eligibility for any refund according to the cancellation time frames outlined above.

Waivers & Releases
Waiver & Liability Release: *

I (the participant) hereby acknowledge that participation in the AG Bell YLN''s adult retreat involves certain risks and responsibilities. In consideration of being allowed to participate in the retreat, I hereby assume all risks associated with my participation. I agree to release and hold harmless the organizers, volunteers, and any associated parties from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses that may arise from my participation in the retreat.
Media/Photo Release: *

I grant permission to AG Bell Association and its programs to use photographs, video recordings, and/or audio recordings of me taken during the retreat for promotional purposes, including but not limited to websites, social media, and printed materials.
Substance-Free Agreement: *

I (participant) understand and agree to abide by the substance-free policy during the AG Bell Adult Retreat, held at the YMCA of the Rockies. I acknowledge that the use of drugs, alcohol, smoking, and vaping is strictly prohibited not only during the AG Bell Adult Retreat but also on the premises of the YMCA of the Rockies property. As a participant, I commit to maintaining a substance-free environment out of respect for myself and others attending the retreat, as well as in compliance with the policies of the YMCA of the Rockies. I understand that any violation of this policy may result in consequences, including but not limited to expulsion from the retreat without refund. I agree to support and uphold the values of the AG Bell Adult Retreat by refraining from the use of substances and by promoting a healthy and inclusive environment for all participants.
Shared Housing Agreement: *

I (participant) acknowledge that the housing accommodations at the adult retreat are shared and separated by gender. I understand and agree to abide by the following: - I will respect the privacy and personal space of my fellow participants sharing the housing accommodations. - I will adhere to any guidelines or rules provided by the organizers regarding shared housing. - I understand that any inappropriate behavior or violation of the shared housing guidelines may result in consequences, including expulsion from the retreat. (While unexpected, should any criminal behavior take place, local authorities will be contacted to address the situation). - I acknowledge that if I have any concerns or special accommodation requests regarding housing, I will communicate them to the organizers in advance. - I understand that by participating in the adult retreat, I agree to adhere to the shared housing arrangements as outlined above.
Right to Deny Participation:*

I (participant) acknowledge that AG Bell reserves the right to deny participation in the retreat for any reason deemed necessary to maintain the safety, integrity, or overall well-being of the program and its participants.
Shared Housing by Gender Statement:

At our adult retreat, we offer shared housing accommodations separated by gender. We believe that providing separate housing spaces promotes comfort, safety, and privacy for all participants. Please note that the housing arrangements are assigned based on the gender indicated on your registration form. The accommodation is a lodge with two queen beds and a private bath.

We understand that shared housing may not be suitable for everyone, and we respect individual preferences and needs. If you have any concerns or special accommodation requests regarding housing, please feel free to contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

We will be staying in a lodge so outlets and wifi will be provided in the rooms. Please remember to bring anything that you may need for the retreat (i.e. alarm clock, extra batteries, extension cord(s), and more).
