Please note boys aged 6-10 can apply to be a Rose Buddy, and the names of the chosen Rose Buddy will appear on

www.roseoftralee.ie on Friday 3rd July 2026.

€5 from each entry will be donated to Barretstown.

- All applicants must be aged 6 to 10 (they must have turned 6 BEFORE the 1st of January in the festival year of application and have not turned 11 BEFORE the 1st of September of that same year)
  
  Kerry Rose Festival Ltd will only contact successful applicants
  
  The total number of Rose Buddy places will be determined by the number of International Roses taking part in the Rose of Tralee International Festival from 14-18th August 2026.
  
  Two thirds will be selected from applications received from addresses inside Kerry, one third will be selected from applications received from addresses outside Kerry.
  
  Further places will be allocated through various Rose of Tralee and associated sponsor promotions
  
  Rose Buddy Photograph/Video/Audio Child Release
  You, the Rose Buddy, agree to the filming/ recording/ photography and use of your contribution by Kerry Rose Festival Ltd. You acknowledge and agree that your contribution will be subject to release to the media who hold editorial control and that there is no obligation on the media to use your contribution.
  
  Parent/Guardian/Principal: I warrant that I have authority to sign this form on behalf of the following Rose Buddy in my capacity as parent/guardian of the Rose Buddy. Further, I the parent/guardian hereby confirm permission for the Rose Buddy to be filmed/recorded/photographed as a Rose Buddy participant and acknowledge, understand and accept the Standard Terms as outlined on behalf of the Rose Buddy.
  
  The deadline for the receipt of completed application forms and the non-refundable €25 registration fee is 5pm on Friday 19th June 2026. Successful applicants will be required to make a €200 contribution to cover participation costs during the festival.
