Liability Waiver AgreementTHIS AGREEMENT is made effective upon submission of this registration form between the undersigned participant and EmpoweredHQ. 1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK I, the undersigned Participant, understand that participation in the Powered Games competition involves strenuous physical activity, including but not limited to weightlifting, gymnastics, and high-intensity aerobic movements. I acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to: Muscle strains or tears Bone fractures Joint injuries Cardiac arrest or other heart conditions Head injuries or concussions Other physical injuries due to exhaustion or improper technique I further understand that these risks can be exacerbated by my level of fitness, experience, or if I have any existing health conditions or injuries. 2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY I, the undersigned, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue EmpoweredHQ, its affiliates, employees, volunteers, sponsors, or other individuals or entities associated with the event "Powered Games" from any and all liability for any injuries, damages, or losses that I may incur during or after the competition, including but not limited to any injuries sustained as a result of participating in the event, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise. 3. MEDICAL FITNESS AND INJURY PREVENTION By signing this waiver, I confirm that I am physically fit and capable of participating in the competition. I also acknowledge that I have consulted with a healthcare provider if necessary, and I do not have any medical conditions that would prevent me from participating safely. I agree to immediately stop participating if I feel any discomfort, pain, dizziness, or injury during the competition. 4. EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT In the event of an emergency, I consent to the provision of medical treatment, including but not limited to first aid, emergency medical transportation, or any necessary medical interventions. I agree to assume full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred as a result of such treatment. 5. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA CONSENT I hereby grant permission to the Organiser and its agents to take photographs, videos, and other media recordings of me during the event. I understand that these materials may be used for promotional, marketing, and other purposes without compensation to me. 6. INDEMNIFICATION I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, losses, or damages, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or in connection with my participation in the event. This includes any claim made by a third party resulting from my actions or omissions during the event. 7. COMPLIANCE WITH EVENT RULES I agree to abide by all event rules, regulations, and instructions given by the event organisers, staff, and volunteers. I understand that failure to comply with event rules or instructions may result in disqualification from the event. 8. SEVERABILITY If any provision of this Waiver Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. 9. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND SIGNATURE By submitting this registration form and participating in the competition, I confirm that I have read and fully understand this Liability Waiver Agreement. I am voluntarily agreeing to participate in the event and acknowledge the risks involved. I certify that all information provided is accurate and complete. 10. MERGING OF DIVISIONS DUE TO LACK OF PARTICIPANTS I acknowledge and understand that, in the event there are insufficient participants in any given division or category, the event organisers reserve the right to merge divisions or categories in order to ensure a fair and competitive event. This may include, but is not limited to, merging divisions based on skill level, age group, or other criteria determined by the event organisers. I agree to this potential adjustment and understand that it may alter the structure of my participation in the competition. Should this occur, I will be informed prior to the start of the event.
