Animal Rehoming Request

The Northeast Missouri Humane Society is now offering a valuable service to help pet owners rehome their animals directly, preventing unnecessary shelter surrenders.

For a $10 fee per animal, your pet's profile, complete with detailed information and photos, will be featured on our website. This will increase their visibility to potential adopters. This $10 allows you up to 6 months to find a new home for your pet.

This initiative empowers the community to find loving new homes for their pets while reducing shelter overcrowding, providing a compassionate and affordable rehoming solution.

Please note the following guidelines:

No aggressive dogs/cats

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO KEEP YOUR PET UNTIL HE OR SHE IS REHOMED

No breeders

One submission and fee per litter of puppies/kittens

We will not speak on anyone's behalf (pet owner or new adopter). You are responsible for corespondence to rehome your pet. A NEMOHS Staff member will never be involved in anything but collecting the information & posting it on the website.

Abuse of this service will result in a ban

You MUST notify us immediately when your pet is rehomed

All submissions will be reviewed before posting and we will contact you via email with any questions.

We cannot & will not be held responsible for anything involving this transaction. We are a means for advertising only.
