    TEAM RULES & ROSTERS
    Teams may have a maximum of six (6) players on their official tournament roster.
    A minimum of three (3) players is required to begin and finish each game.
    All games are played with three (3) players on the court.


    Rosters become officially locked once a team's first tournament game begins.
    Players may compete on only one (1) team during the tournament.
    Players must compete in the appropriate age or grade division.


    Tournament officials reserve the right to verify age or grade eligibility at any time.
    Any team using an ineligible player will forfeit all games and may be removed from the tournament without refund.


    No roster additions, substitutions, or transfers will be permitted after a team's first game unless approved by the Tournament Director due to extraordinary circumstances.


    Teams are responsible for ensuring every player has completed tournament registration and all required waivers.


    Teams should check in 30 minutes prior to their first scheduled game.
    A 5-minute grace period will be allowed after the scheduled game time. Teams unable to field at least three (3) players after the grace period will forfeit the game.
    Matching jerseys or shirts with visible numbers are strongly encouraged.

    TOURNAMENT FORMAT
    Every team is guaranteed three (3) games.

    Pool Play
    • Two (2) Pool Play Games

    Championship Bracket
    • Single-Elimination Tournament

    Teams eliminated in the first round of bracket play will automatically advance to a Consolation Game, guaranteeing every team a minimum of three games.

    Championship teams can expect to play five (5) to six (6) games during the tournament.


    GAME FORMAT
    🏀 3rd & 4th Grade
    3-on-3 Half Court
    5-minute running clock OR first team to 12 points
    If time expires before either team reaches 12, the team leading wins.
    Overtime: First team to score 2 points.

    🏀 5th & 6th Grade
    3-on-3 Half Court
    6-minute running clock OR first team to 15 points
    If time expires before either team reaches 15, the team leading wins.
    Overtime: First team to score 2 points.

    🏀 7th & 8th Grade
    3-on-3 Half Court
    8-minute running clock OR first team to 21 points
    If time expires before either team reaches 21, the team leading wins.
    Overtime: First team to score 2 points.

    🏀 High School Division
    3-on-3 Half Court
    12-minute running clock OR first team to 25 points
    If time expires before either team reaches 25, the team leading wins.
    Overtime: First team to score 2 points.

    🏀 Adult Division
    3-on-3 Half Court
    15-minute running clock OR first team to 30 points
    Official FIBA 3x3 Rules apply where not otherwise modified.
    If time expires before either team reaches 30, the team leading wins.
    Overtime: First team to score 2 points.

    UNIVERSAL GAME RULES
    Games are played on a half court using the official 3-on-3 format.
    Three (3) players compete on the court at one time.
    Possession begins with a check ball at the top of the key.
    After every made basket, possession changes to the opposing team.
    After every defensive rebound, steal, or blocked shot recovery, the ball must be cleared beyond the three-point line before attempting to score.
    Baskets made inside the three-point line are worth one (1) point.
    Baskets made outside the three-point line are worth two (2) points.
    Jump balls will be determined by alternating possession.
    Running clocks stop only for injuries, official timeouts, or at the Tournament Director's discretion.
    Officials' decisions are final.

    PLAYER EQUIPMENT
    Basketball shoes are required.
    Matching uniforms or shirts are encouraged.
    Visible player numbers are recommended.
    Jewelry must be removed before play.
    Approved braces and protective equipment are permitted.
    Tournament basketballs will be provided.

    SPORTSMANSHIP
    The Big Baller FireLake 3X3 Championship is committed to providing a positive, competitive, and family-friendly environment.

    Players, coaches, parents, and spectators are expected to:

    Respect officials.
    Respect opponents.
    Respect teammates.
    Respect volunteers.
    Respect tournament staff.
    Respect FireLake Arena and its facilities.
    Display outstanding sportsmanship at all times.

    CODE OF CONDUCT
    The following actions may result in technical fouls, player ejection, team disqualification, or removal from the facility without refund:

    Fighting or attempting to fight
    Physical or verbal abuse
    Threatening officials, staff, volunteers, or spectators
    Unsportsmanlike conduct
    Profanity directed toward officials, players, or spectators
    Harassment or discrimination of any kind
    Damage to FireLake Arena property
    Possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol
    Failure to follow tournament staff instructions
    Excessive arguing with officials
    Leaving the bench area during an altercation
    Parents and spectators are expected to model positive behavior and encourage good sportsmanship throughout the event.


    FORFEITS
    Teams should report to their assigned court 10 minutes before game time.
    A 5-minute grace period will be allowed.
    Teams unable to field three (3) players after the grace period will forfeit the game.
    Repeated forfeits may result in removal from the tournament.

  • IMPORTANT TEAM REGISTRATION AND ROSTER DISCLAIMER
    This registration represents one complete team entry into a Youth or High School Division of the Big Baller FireLake 3X3 Championship. This is not an individual player registration.

    By completing this registration and submitting payment, the registering parent, legal guardian, coach, or authorized team representative acknowledges and agrees to the following:

    Each team may have a maximum of four players.
    Each team must have a minimum of three eligible players available to compete.
    The registering individual is responsible for submitting a complete and accurate team roster.
    The complete roster must be emailed to events@bigballerbrandinc.com by the designated roster deadline.
    The roster must include the full legal name and current grade of every player.
    Every player must compete in the appropriate grade division and meet all eligibility requirements.
    Submitting payment confirms that the team has secured the minimum number of eligible players required to compete.
    Tournament organizers will not locate, assign, or provide additional players for an incomplete team.
    A team that cannot field at least three eligible players at its scheduled game time may be required to forfeit.
    Players may not be added, replaced, or transferred after the roster deadline without written approval from tournament management.
    A player may compete on only one team during the event.
    Every player under 18 must have a completed waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian before competing.
    The registering individual is responsible for ensuring that every listed player completes all required waivers, releases, eligibility forms, and registration documents.
    The registering individual will serve as the team’s primary contact and is responsible for communicating tournament schedules, rules, roster deadlines, waiver requirements, payment information, and event updates to all players, parents, guardians, and coaches.

    IMPORTANT
    Failure to submit a complete roster, provide accurate eligibility information, meet the minimum-player requirement, or complete all required documentation may result in game forfeiture, team disqualification, removal from the tournament, loss of registration fees, and loss of award eligibility.

    REGISTRATION FEES ARE FOR A COMPLETE TEAM ENTRY AND ARE NOT REFUNDABLE BECAUSE A TEAM FAILS TO SECURE ENOUGH ELIGIBLE PLAYERS.

    This form must be completed by the parent or legal guardian of every participant under 18 years of age before the participant may compete.

    1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
    I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant identified above. I understand that participation in the Big Baller FireLake 3X3 Championship involves vigorous physical activity, including basketball competition, running, jumping, conditioning, physical contact, rapid movement, and other athletic activities.

    I understand that participation involves known and unknown risks, including, but not limited to:

    Sprains and strains
    Cuts and bruises
    Muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries
    Broken bones
    Dental or facial injuries
    Head, neck, back, or spinal injuries
    Concussions and other traumatic brain injuries
    Heat exhaustion, dehydration, or heat-related illness
    Cardiac events and other medical emergencies
    Permanent disability, paralysis, or death
    Contact with players, officials, equipment, or playing surfaces
    Loss of or damage to personal property
    I understand that injuries may occur despite proper supervision, instruction, officiating, facility maintenance, and reasonable safety precautions.

    I knowingly and voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with my child’s participation in this event.


    2. CERTIFICATION OF PHYSICAL CONDITION
    By signing this waiver, I certify that the participant:

    Is physically and medically able to participate in competitive basketball activities.
    Has no known medical condition that would prevent safe participation.
    Has no undisclosed injury, illness, allergy, or physical limitation that would place the participant or others at increased risk.
    Has received medical clearance to participate when such clearance is necessary or recommended.
    Will not participate while injured, ill, impaired, or otherwise unable to compete safely.
    I understand that it is my responsibility to disclose all relevant allergies, medications, medical conditions, injuries, and physical limitations to tournament staff before participation.

    I agree to notify tournament officials immediately if the participant’s medical condition changes before or during the event.

     


    3. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
    To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release, waive, discharge, and agree to hold harmless:

    Event sponsors and partners
    Tournament directors and organizers
    Coaches, officials, referees, and volunteers
    Employees and independent contractors
    Athletic trainers and medical personnel
    Security personnel and vendors
    Facility owners, operators, and managers
    All affiliated organizations, agents, representatives, and partners
    Collectively referred to as the “Released Parties.”

    This release applies to claims, demands, causes of action, damages, injuries, illnesses, losses, medical expenses, property damage, or liabilities arising from or related to the participant’s involvement in, attendance at, travel to, or travel from the event.

    This release includes claims allegedly caused by the ordinary negligence of a Released Party, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. It does not apply to conduct that cannot legally be released or waived.


    4. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
    If the participant becomes injured, ill, unconscious, or otherwise requires medical attention, I authorize tournament officials, event staff, coaches, athletic trainers, emergency medical personnel, first responders, venue personnel, or other qualified individuals to:

    Provide first aid.
    Contact Emergency Medical Services.
    Arrange ambulance or emergency transportation.
    Obtain medical evaluation or treatment.
    Authorize emergency treatment considered reasonably necessary until I can be contacted.
    I understand that reasonable efforts will be made to contact me or the participant’s emergency contact when circumstances permit.

    I accept full financial responsibility for all medical treatment, emergency transportation, hospital care, medication, testing, or other expenses resulting from the participant’s involvement in the event.

    I understand that the Released Parties are not responsible for paying medical expenses incurred on behalf of the participant.


    5. PERSONAL PROPERTY
    I understand that the participant is responsible for securing and protecting personal belongings, including:

    Basketballs
    Shoes
    Uniforms and clothing
    Cell phones and electronics
    Wallets and cash
    Jewelry
    Backpacks
    Athletic equipment
    Other personal items
    I understand and agree that the Released Parties are not responsible for property that is lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged before, during, or after the event.


    6. REGISTRATION, NO-SHOW AND REFUND POLICY
    I understand that registration reserves a position for the participant’s team and that tournament expenses may be incurred based on completed registrations.

    I acknowledge and agree that:

    Teams or participants who fail to appear are not eligible for a refund.
    Withdrawal requests received after the published registration deadline are non-refundable unless tournament management approves an exception.
    Removal, ejection, disqualification, or forfeiture resulting from misconduct, eligibility violations, incomplete documentation, or failure to follow tournament rules will not result in a refund.
    Tournament management may consider documented emergencies at its sole discretion.
    Tournament schedules, divisions, game times, court assignments, and formats may be adjusted because of registration totals, facility needs, emergencies, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

    7. MEDIA, PHOTOGRAPHY AND PROMOTIONAL RELEASE
    I grant Big Baller Brand Inc., Big Baller Brand Grassroots, Triple B’s Cares Foundation, Potawatomi Fire, FireLake Arena, Citizen Potawatomi Nation, event sponsors, media partners, and their authorized representatives permission to photograph, film, livestream, interview, audio record, or otherwise capture the participant’s image, likeness, voice, name, performance, and participation during the event.

    I authorize these materials to be used, edited, reproduced, published, displayed, distributed, broadcast, livestreamed, or promoted through:

    Social media
    Websites
    Television and streaming platforms
    Advertising and marketing campaigns
    Printed promotional materials
    Event recaps
    Commercials
    News and media coverage
    Educational materials
    Future tournament promotions
    I understand that these materials may be used publicly and without additional notice, approval, or compensation.


    8. PLAYER, PARENT AND SPECTATOR CODE OF CONDUCT
    I understand that all players, parents, guardians, coaches, team representatives, and spectators are expected to behave respectfully and follow tournament and facility rules.

    The following conduct is prohibited:

    Fighting or attempting to fight
    Physical or verbal abuse
    Threatening or intimidating behavior
    Unsportsmanlike conduct
    Profanity directed toward officials, players, staff, volunteers, or spectators
    Harassment or discrimination
    Intentional damage to facility or personal property
    Possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol
    Refusal to follow tournament, security, or facility instructions
    Disruptive behavior that interferes with the event
    I understand that violations may result in:

    Technical fouls
    Game forfeiture
    Player or coach ejection
    Team disqualification
    Removal from FireLake Arena
    Loss of registration fees
    Referral to law enforcement when appropriate
    I understand that tournament management’s decisions regarding safety, conduct, eligibility, ejections, forfeitures, and disqualification are final.


    9. ELIGIBILITY AND TOURNAMENT RULES
    I certify that the participant is registered in the correct grade division and is eligible to compete.

    I understand and agree that:

    The participant may compete on only one team during the tournament.
    The participant must be listed on the official team roster.
    Tournament officials may verify the participant’s identity, age, grade, or school enrollment.
    Use of an ineligible or unregistered player may result in game forfeiture, team disqualification, removal from the event, and loss of registration fees.
    The participant must follow all tournament rules, equipment requirements, safety procedures, and instructions from officials and event staff.

    10. GENERAL RELEASE AND SEVERABILITY
    I confirm that I have carefully read this entire waiver and understand its terms.

    I voluntarily permit the participant to take part in the Big Baller FireLake 3X3 Championship and accept responsibility for the risks associated with participation.

    I understand that this agreement is intended to be legally binding upon me, the participant, and our respective heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, and assigns.

    If any portion of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

    This agreement will be interpreted to the fullest extent permitted under applicable Oklahoma law.


    PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN ACKNOWLEDGMENT
    By signing below, I certify that:

    ☐ I am the participant’s parent or legal guardian and have authority to sign this agreement.

    ☐ I have read this waiver in its entirety.

    ☐ I understand and accept the risks associated with participation.

    ☐ The participant is physically and medically able to compete.

    UNIVERSAL GAME RULES

    Display positive sportsmanship at all times.

    CODE OF CONDUCT
    The following actions may result in a technical foul, player or coach ejection, team disqualification, loss of registration fees, or removal from the facility:

    Fighting or attempting to fight
    Physical or verbal abuse
    Threatening officials, staff, volunteers, players, or spectators
    Unsportsmanlike conduct
    Profanity directed toward officials, players, staff, or spectators
    Harassment or discrimination of any kind
    Intentional damage to FireLake Arena property
    Possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol
    Failure to follow tournament or facility instructions
    Disruptive behavior that interferes with the operation of the event
    Parents, guardians, coaches, and spectators are expected to model positive and respectful behavior throughout the event.

    Tournament management’s decisions regarding conduct, eligibility, ejections, forfeitures, and disqualification are final.


    CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS
    Youth and High School division champions will receive:

    Individual championship medals
    Exclusive limited-edition Big Baller FireLake 3X3 Championship event T-shirt
    Championship team photo
    Recognition across Big Baller Brand social media platforms
    Awards are subject to player eligibility, roster verification, and compliance with all tournament rules.


    EVENT POLICIES
    Every player must be properly registered before competing.
    Every player under 18 must have a completed parent or legal guardian waiver.
    Registration fees are non-refundable after registration closes.
    Registration represents one complete team entry.
    Tournament schedules, game times, and court assignments may be adjusted because of registration totals, facility needs, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
    Tournament management reserves the right to combine compatible divisions when necessary because of registration numbers.
    Tournament management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any player, coach, parent, guardian, or spectator whose conduct is considered harmful or disruptive to the event.
    Teams using an ineligible, unregistered, or improperly rostered player may be disqualified without a refund.
    Each team is responsible for knowing its schedule and arriving on time for every game.

    MEDIA AND PROMOTIONAL RELEASE
    By participating in or attending the event, players, coaches, parents, guardians, and spectators grant Big Baller Brand Inc., Triple B’s Cares Foundation, Potawatomi Fire, FireLake Arena, and authorized event partners permission to photograph, film, livestream, record, and use images or video captured during the event.

    These materials may be used for:

    Event coverage
    Broadcasts and livestreams
    Websites and social media
    Promotional materials
    Advertising
    Future tournament marketing
    Images and recordings may be used without additional compensation.
