2025 Clay Place Bonus Term Registration
The Clay Place at UVA is a community clay studio in the Umpqua Valley that operates on four 8-week open studio terms throughout the year with one special 5-week Bonus Term at the end of the year.

The Bonus Term is a shorter term with no instruction that is ideal for experienced Clay Place students to work on special independent projects in a community setting. The 2025 Bonus Term will be November 17th - December 19th. Studio hours and closure dates will be posted soon.

IMPORTANT:
Registrants must have experience with the Clay Place studio to be eligible to sign up for the Bonus Term.

Any registrants that do not have experience with our Clay Place studio and accidentally sign up will be provided with a full refund minus a $10 service charge.

Please also note:
- No member discount is provided, as this is a more condensed term with shortened hours and no instruction.
- There is no limit to how many hours a student may sign up for.
- Kiln space will be limited due to the short turnaround for firing. To accommodate all students, registrants will only be expected to make a select amount of items.

During this learning experience, your child might have the opportunity to create art by using various instruments and tools that could cause injury, such as hot glue guns, scissors, carving tools, etc. Our instructors supervise all youth classes, but we ask that you agree to waive, indemnify, protect, and hold harmless The Umpqua Valley Arts Association, its members, instructors, teachers, employees, volunteers, and all private persons from any claim or liability whatsoever, including—but not limited to—personal injury, property damage, court costs, attorney fees and interests, however caused, resulting from participation in classes and camps.

Refund Policy

Payment and Refund Policy: Full payment at time of registration is required. Up until two weeks prior to the start of the event, you will receive a full refund (minus a $10 service charge) should you need to cancel your registration. However, cancellations made after this two-week time frame are nonrefundable. Should UVA cancel the event, all participants will receive a full refund or credit toward future classes.
