La sélection des équipes pour le Championnat national autochtone de hockey (CNAH) aura lieu les 2,3 et 4 janvier 2026. Les athlètes pourront démontrer leur compétitivité et essayer de se tailler une place officielle dans l’équipe Porte de l’Est et du Nord pour le CNAH 2026. La composition des deux équipes officielles (féminine et masculine) sera annoncée à la suite de cette fin de semaine.

*Les premiers retranchements d’athlètes pourraient avoir lieu dès le samedi 3 janvier.

Veuillez noter que des frais de 75 $ par athlète s’appliquent pour le camp de sélection.

Aussi les athlètes sélectionnés, à la suite du camp de sélection, devront payer l’inscription de 1 500 $ afin de couvrir une partie des frais de transport, d’hébergement et de repas associés à leur participation au CNAH 2026.

The team selection for the 2026 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC) will be held on January 2,3 and 4. The athletes will have the opportunity to compete and try to earn a spot for themselves on Team Eastern Door and the North for the 2026 NAHC. The official selections for both teams (men and women) will be announced following this weekend.

*The first athlete cuts could take place as early as Saturday, January 3.

Please note that a fee of $75 per athlete applies for the selection camp

Also, the players from the men’s and women’s EDN teams will be charged a registration fee of $1,500 to cover some of the costs of transportation, accommodation and meals associated with their participation in the NAHC.

*À titre de rappel, il y aura UNE équipe masculine et UNE équipe féminine au total qui représenteront l’équipe PEN au Championnat national autochtone de hockey .

 *As a reminder, please note that a total of ONE men's and ONE women's team will represent Team EDN at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championship.

Rappel : Les athlètes ne peuvent assister qu'à des camps de sélections ou à des essais pour une seule province ou territoire et doivent signer cette déclaration avant d'embarquer sur la glace. 

Reminder: Players can only attend ID camps or try-outs for one province/territory and must sign this declaration prior to getting onto the ice. 

Je déclare par la présente que je vais participer au camp de sélection du CNAH 2026 pour l'équipe Porte de l'Est et du Nord, représentant les Premières Nations et les Inuit au Québec, province où je réside en permanence. Si l'athlète est mineur, la signature d'un parent ou tuteur est requise. 

I hereby declare that I will be participating at the NAHC 2026 selection camp for Team Eastern Door and the North, representing Quebec First Nations and Inuit, which is where I permanently reside. If the player is under the age of 18, then Parent/Guardian signature required. 

Des frais d’inscription de 75$ sont exigés pour les participants et doivent être payés en totalité au plus tard le 10 décembre 2025.

*À noter, ces frais ne sont pas remboursables.

A registration fee of $75 is required for participants and must be paid in full by December 10, 2025.
