Therapy Dog Drop-In Classes are offered non-stop year-round. Great for dogs
new to this work or for refreshing your skills if you need to re-evaluate too. The
skills taught will assist you with preparing to take ANY therapy dog or CGC
evaluation.
Register online for either class (they are interchangeable) offered on Thursdays (9:30 a.m.), or Saturdays (10:00 a.m.). You will then be contacted to reserve the specific dates & times that work for you.
Single class: $18 Check out the class! Add more single sessions as needed.
Four classes: $65 (Economy pass) Four sessions are great for refreshing skills or
for a dog new to this work that has a strong base of experience in other dog skills such as in competitions or lots of exposure to the world in a variety of settings (such as handlers that take their dog to work, or travel extensively with them, etc.)
Six classes: $90 (Economy pass) Six sessions are highly recommended for those
new to therapy dog work and for those that want to solidify their dog’s skills in a variety of settings including complex ones.
Private Sessions Available: Students may want to have an assessment done on their dog first to see if therapy work is a fit for them. Others may want to run through the elements and skills of a therapy dog or CGC evaluation to see where they need a little more polish. Students may also find it helpful to have a private session in order to have more tools in their “toolbox” when their dog is experiencing some issues that impedes their progress.
30 Minute Private Session: $30
45 Minute Private Session: $45
60 Minute Private Session: $60
