  • Travel Insurance

    If paid 21 days before departure, you cannot use this travel insurance to address any pre-existing medical conditions you currently have. For example, let’s say someone was diagnosed with kidney failure, bought the travel insurance, and during the trip claim a medical emergency because of their kidney failure, they cannot receive funds from the travel insurance. But let’s say you fall off a cliff on the side of the road and need emergency medical attention and have to be helicopter evacuated out and receive emergency surgery, then the travel insurance will help cover the amounts. Travel insurance is not necessary but does provide peace of mind if something does go wrong. It all depends on your comfortability surrounding the trip. Do you think it has a chance to be delayed or cancelled? Do you think you could possibly need emergency medical treatment given where you are traveling to?
