2026 Application for Sanctioned Meet

To be used for meets from Sept 1, 2025 - Aug 31, 2026
Applications must be submitted at least 45 days prior to the meet for open calendar meets and 14 days prior to the meet date for dual, tri or invitational meets.

Sanctioned Meets are open to USA Registered Swimmers only.
Approved Meets are open to USA Registered and YMCA only swimmers.

Our sanction deposit or fee, a copy of the event information and event Hy-tek file are attached. As a condition of obtaining such a sanction, I and the above organization, which I represent, agree to abide and govern this event under the rules and regulations of United States Swimming, Inc. and Maine Swimming, Inc. and all other term and conditions upon which this sanction may be granted. These terms specifically include all local rules and regulations and those set forth in Article 202 of the current edition of USA Swimming Rules and Regulations, specific reference to Paragraph Six of Article 202.2 thereof, which provides that:

In granting this sanction it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event.”

In applying for this sanction,

Our club agrees to comply and to enforce all health and safety mandates and guidelines of USA Swimming, Maine Swimming, and the State of Maine.

All Maine Swimming members competing must be in compliance with the Maine Swimming Coronavirus Waiver Policy. Maine Swimming retains the right, for any changes in health and safety considerations, or in compliance with governmental or health department guidance or rules, to revoke this sanction at any time on the authority of the General Chair, the Sanction Chair or the Official's Chair.

The undersigned certifies that the proposed facility meets all the requirements of Article 103 of USA Swimming Rules and Regulations for the requested season. In granting this sanction it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming, Inc. and Maine Swimming, Inc. shall be free from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event
