HIGH LEVEL NOTES
Because there is some highway travel by UTV and the elevation changes, you need to have a machine of 1000 cc or larger with a minimum of 82 horsepower. Best machines to have are RZRs, Generals, Xpeditions, Ridges, Defenders or like competitive models. Ranger 1000 Northstars will suffice, however, they will be working hard to maintain the speeds needed.
Each machine needs to have a spare belt with it in case of an issue on the trail, we want to keep you moving. Also good heavy duty tires over 60% life left. There will be some permits and items needed for traveling in South Dakota. We will be in touch in the spring of 2027 to guide you through what is needed. No cancellations after May 15, 2027 as the Lodge block is locked in then.
Having been out there 4 other times, this event is great for all levels of riders, from experts to novices. And great for families and also a couple of friends looking to get out and explore. We hope you can join us. The Lodge has a nice pool, casino, restaurant, bar and outside patio on a mount overlooking the city of Deadwood.
