ACADEMIC AGREEMENT & STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
As an admitted student of Raising Phoenix Temple University (RPTU), I understand and agree to abide by the following academic rules, standards, and expectations, which are necessary to maintain enrollment and eligibility for graduation. RPTU operates as a spiritually guided institution rooted in excellence, integrity, accountability, and holistic development.
1. Class Attendance & Participation
Active participation in all scheduled live or virtual classes is required, unless previously excused with written notice.
Students must have their camera turned on for all live sessions unless medically exempt or granted permission by an instructor.
Repeated unexcused absences, disengagement, or lack of participation may result in academic probation, course failure, or removal from program access.
2. Assignments & Submissions
All assignments must be submitted on or before the due date. Late submissions without prior communication will result in a grade reduction or zero credit.
Incomplete work or repeated missing assignments may affect graduation eligibility and academic standing.
Students are required to complete weekly coursework unless the program operates under a different learning structure.
3. Grades & Academic Progress
Students must maintain satisfactory academic performance as outlined in each course syllabus.
A minimum cumulative score of 80% is required for certification or graduation.
Failure to meet academic standards will result in a warning, followed by probation, and may result in dismissal if not corrected.
4. Graduation Requirements
To qualify for graduation or certification, the student must:
Successfully complete all required courses, practicum, and service projects
Fulfill all financial obligations or be current on an in-house payment plan
Participate in the assigned graduation review process or ceremony
Submit all final projects, exams, or presentations as outlined
Diplomas, degrees, or spiritual certifications will not be released until all academic, behavioral, and financial requirements are fulfilled.
5. Conduct & Integrity
Academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action or expulsion.
RPTU upholds sacred respect for faculty, students, and tribal elders, and expects all students to conduct themselves with spiritual integrity, respect, and responsibility.
6. Policy Acknowledgment
By signing this agreement, I affirm that:
I have read and understood the expectations outlined above
I will uphold the standards of RPTU as part of my sacred educational journey
I accept that failure to follow these policies may result in loss of access, grades, graduation privileges, or spiritual standing within the University
