Please note: there is a small fee to register, this fee goes towards the prize money for the contest. Sponsors will be obtained as well to cover costs.

Rehearsal/Sound check at 10am (in order of arrival)

Show order will be at the director's discretion and will be available by 2pm

Doors open at 6pm, showtime at 7pm

Awards to follow final performance of the evening

Rules and Regulations

1. One entry per group or performer
2. Safe and Family Friendly- no profanity, sex, nudity, or violence is allowed. They must also be safe, as most talent shows forbid acts involving fire or where the performer(s) risks injury.
3. Acts Must Provide Their Own Props- For singers and dancers, this can mean their own instrumental accompaniment, while acrobats and contortionists must provide their own mats.
4. All acts must attend a run-through/sound check the day of at 10am to be elligible to compete in the competition that evening.

5. Talents may include (but are not limited to) singing, dancing, instrumental music, skits, magic, comedy, martial arts, juggling, NO LIP-SYNCHING.
6. Everyone must return a completed and signed Talent Show Participation Form Students who are part of a group act should submit their Participation Forms together.
7. Recommended length is 3 minutes; acts must be no more than 5 minutes.
8. In all cases, the decisions of the judges are final and will not be open to discussion.
9. Costumes must be appropriate for all age groups. This is a community event. Acts are responsible for their props and costumes.
10. If your act requires recorded accompanying music, the music must be: Provided to the Talent Show Committee at the time of the auditions.
Acts with any member under 18 must have written consent from the parents of each of the members.
11. BE SURE TO INVITE FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND SUPPORTERS. THE JUDGES WILL ALSO SCORE BASED ON AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION, SO THE MORE PEOPLE YOU INVITE THE BETTER YOUR CHANCE OF A HIGHER SCORE. WE EXPECT ALL PARTICIPANTS TO PROMOTE HEAVILY ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AND BY WORD OF MOUTH.
12. WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE END OF THE TALENT SHOWCASE. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE PRIZES.
