The Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) accredited by the Irish Department of Transport is the minimum qualification required to operate both fixed and handheld marine VHF radio equipment on an IRL flagged vessel. This includes equipment with and without Digital Selective Calling (DSC).

Friday evening January 16th, 1830 - approx. 2130
Saturday all day, January 17th, 0900 - approx. 1800

Written examination: 50 minutes
Oral examination: 15 - 20 minutes for each candidate
