The MoBo Bicycle Cooperative is a non-profit volunteer-run cooperative dedicated to making cycling accessible and practical to everyone in the greater Cincinnati area.

We build community by providing a welcoming and communal workspace, knowledgeable staff, and the tools and parts for cyclists of all ages and skill levels to repair, maintain and acquire bicycles.

Membership Benefits

Members learn from and teach one another by sharing knowledge and experience. MoBo facilitates healthy and sustainable transportation through bicycle programs, events, and advocacy in our immediate community and beyond.

Membership provides access to our drop-in shop hours, which includes all tools, grease/oil, and the expertise of our volunteer mechanics. Parts and frames are available for a nominal fee. Members also may participate in all MoBo workshops and events.

Membership is currently free for kids under 18 and suggested $20/year for adults.

Sundays 11am-5pm Open Shop (for adults)

Mondays 5-8pm Kids Day (for youth under 18, first-come-first-served, one free bike per year, new members encouraged to arrive at 5pm, no new projects after 7pm!)

Winter Workshops on select Mondays 6-8pm, Thursdays 6-8pm, and Sundays 2-4pm February-April 2026

Kids Day Anti-Oppression Pledge (For Grown-Ups Too!)

The Village Green and MoBo try to be a supportive and loving space. In this space, I will be supportive and loving.

Everyone is different. People often treat each other differently based on their ways of being or loving, their appearance, or where they’re from. We try to treat everyone the way they want to be treated.

Sometimes, we may disagree or be frustrated with each other, but we will always treat each other respectfully.

Everyone makes mistakes or acts unkindly sometimes. I will tell a grownup if anyone makes me feel scared or uncomfortable. I will listen and try to do better if I make anyone feel scared or uncomfortable. I will use my body carefully in the shop.

Waiver

By signing this form in the space provided below, hereby assume all of the risks of participating and/or volunteering in the Mobo Bicycle Cooperative. I realize that liability may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, main- tained or controlled by them or because of their possible liability without fault. I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability form will be used by the Mobo Bicycle Cooperative, sponsors and organizers, in which I may participate and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities during my use of its services. In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this program,I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) Waive, Release and Discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability, personal injury, property dam- age, property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accrue to me including my traveling using the program's bicycle, equipment or other facilities, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: The directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, the event holders, sponsors, and volunteers of the Mobo Bicycle Cooperative and the Village Green Foundation. (B) Indemnify and Hold Harmless the entities and persons set forth in (A) above from any and all liabilities and claims arising from my participation in this program, including my use of a bicycle belonging to the program, irrespective of whether the cause of the claims or liability arise from the negligence, acts or omissions of me, a third party, or the program. (C) Thereby consent to allow my photograph(s) to be taken and/or story written and used at the discretion of Mobo and the Village Green Foundation. I understand that the photograph(s) or story may be used in promotional materials and that he/she will not receive any compensation now or in the future for the use of my photograph or story.

We believe a supportive community and tools to which one can discover and cultivate their unique gifts, should be accessible to all, regardless of economic status. We also know first-hand that it costs money to sustain a space.
