Policy on Cancellation and Refunds
Rejection
In the event that an applicant is rejected by the school, they are entitled to a full refund of all payments made.
Three-Day Cancellation
The application fee will not be refunded if the cancellation request is made within two weeks of the course start date. However, if an applicant provides written notice of cancellation within three days (excluding Saturday, Sunday, and federal or state holidays) of signing an enrollment agreement, they are entitled to a 100% refund of all monies paid. The school must provide the refund within 30 days of receiving the cancellation notice.
Other Cancellations
If an applicant requests cancellation more than three days after signing an enrollment agreement and making an initial payment but before entering the school, they are entitled to a refund of all monies paid, excluding the $100.00 application fee and $100 deposit fee.
Withdrawal Procedure/Withdrawal Date
A student who decides to withdraw from the school after classes have started must provide written notice to the Director of the school. The notice should include the expected last date of attendance and be signed and dated by the student. For a student on an authorized Leave of Absence, the withdrawal date is considered the date the student was scheduled to return from the leave but failed to do so. A student will be deemed withdrawn from the institution if they have not attended any class for 6 consecutive class hours. All refunds will be issued within 30 days of determining the withdrawal date, with the deduction of the $100.00 application fee and $100 deposit fee.
Tuition Charges/Refunds
Before classes begin, the student is entitled to a 100% refund of the tuition, excluding the $100.00 application fee and $100 deposit. After classes have commenced, the refund amount for tuition, excluding the $100 application fee and $100 deposit fee, will be determined as follows:
Refunds are calculated based on the proration of tuition and the percentage of the program completed at the time of withdrawal, up until 50% of the program. The percentage of clock hours attempted is determined by dividing the total number of clock hours elapsed from the student's start date to the student's last day of attendance by the total number of clock hours in the program (excluding the $100.00 application fee and $100 deposit fee).
