Welcome to Camp Curiosity!

At Acton's summer camp, Camp Curiosity, young explorers are free to experiment, get messy, and dive into new ideas in a hands-on, creative environment. Our camp is designed to spark curiosity and empower learners with open-ended materials that encourage discovery, innovation, and resilience. Here, failure is just another step toward success!

Campers will have access to a variety of exciting materials—including vinegar, baking soda, slime, cardboard, hot glue guns, salad spinners, paint, and shaving cream—giving them endless opportunities to create, test, and explore.

Each day begins with a quick 10-minute launch to ignite curiosity and set the tone for adventure. Then, we’ll head outside for a morning filled with hands-on exploration and active learning. Since we’ll be outdoors most of the morning, please ensure your child is prepared for sun exposure.

Dress for mess! Campers will be getting their hands (and maybe their clothes) dirty as they dive into fun, hands-on experiments. We can't wait to see them embrace the joy of learning at Camp Curiosity!

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Acton Academy Sioux Falls during the selected camp. In exchange for the acceptance of said child’s candidacy by Acton Academy Sioux Falls, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Acton Academy Sioux Falls and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising from participating in the camp session. In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against Acton Academy Sioux Falls, including all guides and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event.
