This event is held rain or shine -- refunds will ONLY be given in the event that the Fairbanks Chamber cancels the Grande Parade.

Just for Fun / Non-Promotional - $75

Late Fee $50 (applications submitted after July 12th)

Each year, banners are awarded for the best entries from the categories listed below. The banners are displayed on the winning entries during the parade AND must be returned to a Chamber’s representative following the parade. The judges will also award one entry for the “Best Overall” category. If you want to be considered for judging, we ask that you be set up no later than 9 a.m. so the judges have a chance to view your float. Points are awarded by: use of theme, creativity, enthusiasm of participants and Golden Days attire including pins, garters, etc.

Participants will NOT be allowed, under any circumstances, to get on or off a moving vehicle.

Participation in the Parade constitutes the agreement to waive any and all claims against the City of Fairbanks, the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce and their respective liability insurance carriers and to defend, indemnify and hold the same harmless from any loss or damage resulting from participation in the 2026 Golden Days Grande Parade.

Special Notes or Requests:

Parade placement is on a first come first serve basis and adjusted by the Chamber based on float characteristics (i.e. music, type or size of float, etc). No requests are guaranteed and priority will be given to returning participants.
