THE PERFORMERS SHOWCASE
We are pleased to present a carefully curated performance showcase celebrating artistry across all ages and disciplines.
This event offers performers the opportunity to present a short work in a supportive, professionally run environment. Whether your craft is dance, music, theatre, spoken word, or another form of live performance, we welcome thoughtful, engaging pieces created to be shared with an audience.
The Showcase is designed to be intimate, well-organized, and artist-focused — a space where performers can present their work with clarity and confidence.
Showcase Guidelines & Information
Submissions
1. Audition videos may be submitted via the content box below or via email australian_youth_arts@outlook.com.
*If email is not possible, videos may be sent through Facebook or Instagram.
Performance Requirements
1. Maximum length: *2 minutes 30 seconds*
2. All performances must be suitable for a general audience.
Important Dates - All rehearsals taking place at SDA Studios
Auditions: Friday the 20th March - 4pm
Rehearsal: Friday the 27th, 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Pre-Show Rehearsal: 5:30pm on the 28th
Music & Technical Information
1. The performance schedule will be sent to participants via email.
2. All music tracks and technical requirements must be submitted via email to AYAP prior to the event.
Costuming
Performers are responsible for their own costumes.
* Requests to hire items from the AYAP costume collection may be submitted in advance.
Eligibility
* Open to performers of all ages.
* All experience and ability levels are welcome.
* This is a showcase, not a competition.
* All participants will be entered into a raffle for a special prize.
