**For the safety of both the rider and our horses we have a weight limit of 200 lbs per rider. If there's any question that a rider is over 200 lbs we will have a scale available so that they may weigh themselves. Horses who are asked to carry more weight than they are capable of are more prone to misbehaving and causing accidents as most days they are working all day. We do not wish this to happen to any of our riders. Be honest when filling out the form it is for your safety**

**We have ONE horse who is capable of carrying a rider over 200lbs, please text the ranch phone before booking in order to reserve this horse. We allow multiple reservations/groups, with a max of six people, which means if you do not message us before booking we cannot guarantee that the horse will be available for that rider.**

Things to Know About Your Ride...

1. We will be riding through sandy trails in the Apalachicola National Forest. You may want to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, water, bug spray and/or a hat.

2. Remove all items from your back pockets as the horses movement will work items out of your pockets during the ride. We do have pouches we can provide you with.

3. Arrive 10 minutes early for your scheduled ride time. We have rides scheduled throughout the day and it is imperative that we maintain our schedule. We need time to give instructions and get everyone signed in.

4. If you are late, the ride may leave without you. Ride times will not be rescheduled for weekend reservations, during Holidays, or Moonlight Trail Rides.

5. Weekday reservations (excluding Holidays and Moonlight Trail Rides) May be rescheduled 1 time, with 24 hour notice via phone call or text.

6. Refunds will only be given if We cancel the ride due to severe weather. You may reschedule a non-holiday weekday ride 1 time. Weekend, holiday, and Moonlight Trail Rides will not be rescheduled or refunded.

7. You may bring treats for the horses. They love carrots and apples. If you bring apples, please cut them in quarters.

8. If you would like a photo on your horse, please let us know when you arrive. It's much easier to take photos before we leave than when we get back.

9. Dress for the weather. We do ride in the rain. We have ponchos for sale for $3 each if needed. Please wear closed toe shoes, no flip flops or high heels or slip ons.

10. If you would like to wear a helmet, your hair must be down. No up dos or high pony tails. All riders under 18 must wear helmets.
