Dear Parents and Guardians,

Carter G. Woodson School sincerely thanks you for your continued support of our Athletics Department. For nearly 30 years, we have watched our scholar-athletes grow and excel both in the classroom and in competition.

Because athletics is an extracurricular program, it must generate funds to help cover expenses such as uniforms, equipment, game security, officials, transportation, conference dues, and tournament fees.

To help support these costs, each scholar-athlete is required to pay a $25 participation fee for each sport in which they participate. Please note that all participation fees are nonrefundable, even if a scholar later decides not to continue with the sport.

Thank you for helping us provide meaningful athletic opportunities for our scholars.
