Hello and welcome to Viking Academy 2026! The dates of our camps are July 6-10, July 13-17 and July 20-24. There are various camps happening these three weeks. See below the schedule. Please note that if you are registering after June 12, 2026 we cannot guarantee your chosen T-shirt size.
Supervised Lunch: If a student has a morning and an afternoon session in the same week, they are able to bring their own lunch and eat in the commons. If this is your plan please sign up for the "supervised lunch" for the corresponding week. It is $30 for the week.
*There are a few camps that we are offering where the age range goes up to 9th grade. According to IHSAA rules, if you are of high school age and attend a sports camp at a high school, you must be enrolled at that school.
Please know that when you register your child for a Viking Academy Camp using this form, that also means you agree and sign the Liability Waiver below.

Disclaimer: While we will do everything we can to accomodate a Camper needs, we do not have the appropriate level of support for registrants who primarily require one on one supervision, who need assitance with the restroom, or who demonstrate consistent, disruptive behavior. We also do not have a nurse on site. Art Enthusiasts! Come test your creativity by painting, drawing, and sculpting. Artists of all abilities will use different mediums to create their own masterpieces. Projects this year will include a group piece, self-art pieces, sculpture, and more! Wear your dirty clothes because we are going to get messy! Teacher: Caitlin DeBoer
Basketball camp will focus heavily on skill development through many fun and challenging drills. Campers will receive specific instruction and practice in regards to multiple fundamentals such as shooting, passing, ball handling and defense. Campers will also get the opportunity to participate in individual and team competitions. Coach: Tom Roozeboom
Blue 42 Hut, HIKE! Come learn from Illiana's first ever boys Football coach, Sam Kessler. Campers will learn basic Football skills and strategy .
Easy homemade desserts for your tiny ones. This week we will learn to make dipped pretzels, dipped oreos, snack mix, decorate cookies, and more! Teacher: Susan Colvin

Kids will become familiar with common fish of NWI and will discuss the importance of conservation and sustainable fishing. They will be going off campus to local ponds, streams, and rivers to fish for a variety of species. Fishing gear is recommended, but not required. Teacher: Chuck and Trent Bintz
Come join your Illiana Christian cheerleaders at Viking Academy's summer cheer camp! Viking Academy's cheer camp aims to teach our younger athletes the skills required to lead a crowd and cheer on their home team with focus placed on proper motion, jumping, and stunting techniques. Our campers will embark on exciting adventures across some of the region’s most engaging and educational destinations- building friendships, confidence, and lifelong memories along the way. We love science! Let's turn an ordinary day into extraordinary adventures while having fun. From great science snacks and games to projects and experiments, there will be a wide variety of activities for each day of the week. Campers will focus on fundamental skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, and defensive positioning in a fun, encouraging environment. Each day includes skill stations, small-sided games, and team-building activities that emphasize sportsmanship, teamwork, and character. Whether your child is brand new to soccer or looking to sharpen their basics, this camp provides a positive and energetic atmosphere to learn and compete. The Elite Soccer Performance Camp is built for serious players ready to elevate their game. This high-intensity camp focuses on advanced technical development, tactical awareness, speed and agility training, and position-specific instruction. Athletes will train in competitive environments, participate in small-group tactical sessions, and compete in structured scrimmages designed to simulate match conditions. Emphasis is placed on decision-making under pressure, conditioning, and leadership on the field. Learn basic knife skills, kitchen safety, and practice various cooking techniques to create fun dishes. We will be making several different recipes to showcase your newly learned skills. Teacher: Susan Colvin
This camp is for beginner through intermediate players grades 5 - 9. Work on learning the sport or advancing your skills. Bring your own racket if you have one. Otherwise, rackets will also be available to borrow. Those going into grade 9 can choose which camp they feel most comfortable with based upon their experience in the sport.
