Survival Scouts classes are held twice a month on Mondays at the Nature Explorers School at Stoney Creek Farm, 4700 Coe Lane, Franklin, 37064.

Our Survival Scouts program focuses on nature and survival skills for children ages 7 and up who are comfortable in the outdoors and are interested in learning wilderness skills. Each class includes hands-on education by experienced instructors and time spent exploring around the farm. This is a drop-off program, although parents are welcome to stay and learn alongside their child.

9:00AM - 11:00AM 

COST:
$25.00 (first child) plus $10 each additional sibling. Purchase the full course and receive a discount plus ONE FREE CLASS!

REFUNDS:
We understand that plans change and children can get sick causing missed classes.  Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for missed classes and classes are not transferrable.

HOLD HARMLESS

PARENT or GUARDIAN agrees to hold NATURE EXPLORES and STONEY CREEK FARM harmless from any claim resulting from damage or injury to SURVIVAL SCOUTS ENRICHMENT DAY ATTENDEE, including but not limited to legal fees and/or expenses incurred by NATURE EXPLORERS or STONEY CREEK FARM in defense of such claims.

EMERGENCY CARE

NATURE EXPLORERS staff agree to attempt to contact the PARENT or GUARDIAN at the phone numbers provided should we feel that emergency medical treatment is needed for the SURVIVAL SCOUTS ENRICHMENT DAY ATTENDEE, provided however, that in the event that we are unable to so contact the PARENT or GUARDIAN within a reasonable time, which time shall be judged and determined solely by NATURE EXPLORERS staff, we are then hereby authorized to secure emergency health care by any licensed providers of such care who are selected by NATURE EXPLORERS staff. The cost of such care secured shall be due and payable by the PARENT or GUARDIAN within 30 days of treatment if treatment is billed directly to NATURE EXPLORERS.

The PARENT or GUARDIAN and SURVIVAL SCOUTS ENRICHMENT DAY ATTENDEE shall indemnify, defend and hold NATURE EXPLORERS and STONEY CREEK FARM, its officers, agents, employees and contractors harmless from any and all liability for damage of claims for property damage or personal injury, including death, and any other claims whatsoever, arising out of or resulting from negligence. Indemnification shall include reasonable costs of defense, judgments, settlements, attorney’s fees and such other costs as may be fixed by the court.  NATURE EXPLORERS and STONEY CREEK FARM are not responsible for loss or injury, or damage to person(s) or property.

In case of medical emergency or general medical care, I give consent for medical teatment for the aboved named child by authorized personnel. I understand that the above named child will only be released to the names listed above. I certify that my child has my permission to attend this program and participate in all activites.
