     Basketball Registration

  • Welcome to Brayge Sports Basketball!

    Basketball is open for ages 5 years to 16 years old

    Early-Bird Registration is $70

    Standard is $75

    Late Registration is $80

    We try to be as affordable as we possibly can with this price - making it so all families can enjoy sports without the heavy cost in time and money. 
    We offer no other family discounts.

  • Basketball is a 6-week league (including optional Skills Clinic) located at:

    Victory Middle School
    920 W Kodiak Drive, Meridian, ID  83642

    Basketball is for ages 5 years - 16 years old.

    The optional, though recommended, Basketball Skills Clinic will be 
    Tuesday, June 9th, between 6pm-9pm, depending on age breaks.


    Each age group plays for 1.5 hours, and times depend on registrations.

    Cost for the Skills Clinic is $15 per player.

    Basketball Games will run Tuesdays, June 16 - July 14, 2026

    between 5pm-9pm.

    Each age group will play for 1 hour.

    (15 minute practice/set-up, 45 minute game)

    Play/game times depend on the registrations we receive per season. 

    There will be no other practices.

     

  • This league works as a co-op.  We NEED YOU!

    If you help as a Coach, Co-Coach/Line Judge, Ref, Score Keeper, or Team Parent, registration cost is current registration price.  
    If you choose the Team Role Opt-out,
    there is a $25 fee for a family with 1 child or $45 fee for families with 2 or more children.

    We can't run this league without our families!

     

    Team Role Positions and Explanation of Duties


    COACH, CO-COACH / LINE JUDGE and REF


    Watch and confirm mandatory tutorial video(s) on your home device.   
    Attend in-person Meeting before the Skills Clinic  AND
    Help facilitate the Skills Clinic for your age group.

    We will review skill sets and fundamentals in the Videos and at the Skills Clinic.
    If you do not have a Brayge Sports shirt yet, we will provide one for you.  
    Please ARRIVE ON TIME to review details, drills/games, and get answers to any questions. Please plan to assist players during the Skills Clinic.

    COACH

    Mandatory participation in 3 items listed above.  This assures we are all on the same page, running our games efficiently and the Brayge Sports way.


    Arrive 10 minutes before your game begins.
    PLEASE wear the COACH shirt on the outside of any other clothing.
    Allow a max of 5 players per team on the court per rotation.
    Refs have control of the court.  Please do not override their calls.
    Encourage and support all players.  Remove players who don't demonstrate sportsmanship (cheating, rough housing, language, etc.).  We don't teach complex techniques, but keep it active and fast paced.  
    Follow the Brayge Sports Rules of Play.  This is about the players having fun, especially if this is their first team sport experience.

    CO-COACH / LINE JUDGE

    Mandatory participation in 3 items listed above. This assures we are all on the same page, running our games efficiently and the Brayge Sports way.


    Arrive 10 minutes before your game begins.
    PLEASE wear the COACH shirt on the outside of any other clothing.
    Assist with the Coach job description above, and keep track with a whistle of any ball going out of bounds. This is to assist if there is no Team Ref or to allow the Ref to watch the court more closely.

    REFEREE

    Mandatory participation in 3 items listed above. This assures we are all on the same page, running our games efficiently and the Brayge Sports way.


    Arrive 10 minutes before your game begins.
    PLEASE wear the REF shirt on the outside of any other clothing.
    This is a running clock game.  Keep it moving.
    Allow a max of 5 players per team on the court per rotation.
    Ref controls the court.  BLOW YOUR WHISTLE.  The players are out there to have fun, while learning the rules of play.
    Watch and remove deliberate rough playing.  
    Follow the Brayge Sports Rules of Play. 
    Encourage and support all players. 

    TEAM PARENT

    Help pass out jerseys during the Optional Skills Clinic for your age group.
    Bring snacks/drinks for the first game.
    Arrange snacks/drinks for all other games; bring a Snack Sign-up Sheet to the first game, OR contact families by email/text (you will receive contact information by email for each player on your team before the first game).
    Remind families before the game to bring their snacks/drinks. 
    No name tags. They are not allowed in the gym per school use regulations.
    Liaison between families, Brayge Team members, Refs and Coaches.  
    Make sure Coaches and Refs are on the court each game day. Arrive early to make sure Coaches and Refs are present. If not, notify a BRAYGE Team Member (located in Brayge shirts near the equipment area).
    Help keep players organized during games.  

    Please take 2 photos of a few of your team's players or the entire team; text them to (208) 362-1528 for possible use on our social media.

    SCORE KEEPER 

    Watch the Score Keeper video tutorial on our site brayge.com/basketball.
    Arrive before the start of the 15-minute practice to set the game-time start.
    Follow the rules of play for points given.

  • Basketball Skills Clinic (optional, though STRONGLY encouraged):  Teaching the basics of the game through practice drills, games, and scrimmage.

    The optional Basketball Skills Clinic will be at 

    Victory Middle School
    Tuesday, June 9th between 6pm-9pm.
    Each age group plays for 1.5 hours.

    $15 per child.

    It is MANDATORY that Coaches, Line Judges and Refs watch the Team Role videos and confirm, and attend Clinic, as you help facilitate during the evening. Coach/Ref meeting will be 5:30pm-6pm before the players arrive.

  • Participant Liability Release and Waiver Form

    Event Brayge Sports & Fitness

    Liability Release: For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, as parent or legal guardian of the above mentioned minor (hereinafter "Minor"), hereby grant the permission necessary to allow Minor to participate in the above event to be conducted by Bryan and/or Nicole Weaver.  I, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, further agree to release and hold harmless Brayge Sports, Bryan and/or Nicole Weaver, Brayge.com., and any other subsequent body  on whose premises the Event will occur (hereinafter the "Location"), the affiliates of the aforementioned entities and/or individuals and the Location (hereinafter the "Releasees"), from any and all liability whether caused by negligence of the Releasees or otherwise for any claim, judgment, loss, liability, costs and expenses (including, without limitations attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of or connected with the Event, including any claim arising out of or connected with any illness or injury (minimal, serious, catastrophic and/or death) that Minor may incur or sustain during the Event, all activities associated with the Event and while  traveling to and from the site for the Event whether or not the Event actually occurs.  I further expressly agree to indemnify and hold harmless Releasees and Releasees’ heirs, assigns, successors, executors, and administrators against loss from any further claims, demands,  or actions  that may subsequently be brought by Minor or by any other person s on the account of damages of any character  resulting to Minor in any way from the foregoing activities.  I further agree to reimburse and to make good to Releasees any loss or costs Releasees may have to pay as a result of any such action, claim or demand.

    I, in my own behalf, grant Brayge Sports & Fitness my permission to use the photographs described as seasonal games, classes, trainings, and clinics for any legal use, including but not limited to: publicity, copyright purposes, illustration, advertising, and web content.

     Furthermore, I understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.

    I, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, hereby warrant that I have read this Liability Release in its entirety and fully understand its contents.  I, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, am aware that this Liability Release releases Releasees from any and all liability and contains an acknowledgement of my voluntary and knowing assumption of the risk of injury or illness.  I, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, have signed this document voluntarily and of my own free will.

    Medical Release: I, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, acknowledge and agree that such participation subjects Minor to possibility of injury or illness (minimal, serious, catastrophic and/or death) and that I, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, acknowledge that Minor is assuming the risk of such illness and/or injury participating in the Event.  In the even of such illness and/or injury, I authorize Brayge Sports & Fitness, Bryan and/or Nicole Weaver to obtain necessary medical treatment for Minor and hereby, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, release and hold harmless Releasees in the exercises of this authority.  I further acknowledge and understand that I will be responsible for any and all medical and related bills that may be incurred on behalf of Minor for any illness and/or injury that Minor may sustain during the Event and while traveling to and from the site for the Event whether or not the Event actually occurs. 

    I represent that any medication to which Minor is allergic or any medications that Minor is currently taking are listed below.  I agree that Minor shall bring medications which Minor is currently taking with him/her to the Event and that he/she shall consume the prescribed dosage for such medications.

    I, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, hereby warrant that I have read this Participant Release and Waiver Form in its entirety and fully understand its contents.  I, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, am aware that this Participant Release and Waiver Form releases Releasees from liability and contains and acknowledgment of my voluntary and knowing assumption of the risk of injury or illness.  I, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, further acknowledge that nothing in this Participant Release and Waiver Form constitutes a guarantee that the Event will occur.  I, in my own behalf and on behalf of Minor, have signed this document voluntarily and of my own free will.
