How It Works

Every week, BLK Marketplace Monday will highlight sponsored businesses who want to feature their business along with sales and deals on their products and/or services.
1. Submit Your Business – Fill out our submission form with your business details. Categories include retail, food + beverage, wellness, art + culture, and more.
2. Deadlines – Posts are shared every Monday, with a submission deadline on the preceding Thursday 5pm CST. Any submissions following that will be subject to a rush fee of $25.
3. Curation – Each week, we spotlight a curated mix of businesses in a social media carousel and in our BLK in the City newsletter. Carousel posts are made first come, first serve.
4. Rotation – To keep things fresh, each business can be featured once a month. This ensures our audience always discovers something new while giving your feature more visibility.
5. Nominations – Businesses can also nominate another business to be featured, helping us highlight more of the amazing work across Chicago’s Black community.
All accepted submissions are nonrefundable.
