• Registration for Camp NASW-MN 2026

October 22-25, 2026 - Northern Pines Camp, Park Rapids, MN
  • Space is limited and will fill up quickly! Register now to secure your spot.

Join your fellow social workers at our fifth-annual Camp NASW-MN!
Come for one-of-a-kind experience focused on self-care, connection, and fun! There’s nothing like the beauty of Fall colors in Northern Minnesota. Get away from the hustle and bustle, and enjoy a weekend with old acquaintances, new friends, and social work colleagues from across the state!

    No camp experience necessary!
Your comfort and safety are the top priority for this event. In particular, we want to ensure a safe experience for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, diverse ability status, and all identities. We strive to provide an experience that is anti-racist and reflective of our professional and organizational values. This includes (but is not limited to) accessible rooms and spaces, and the opportunity to choose your level of engagement in all activities.

Camp NASW-MN lodging is in indoor, heated cabins; cabins have shared bedrooms with beds that sleep one person and/or bunk beds that sleep one person per bunk. However, if you are a hardcore camper, bring you own tent for outdoor camping!

Never been to camp and wondering what to expect?
Want more details about lodging and the Camp venue?
See our Camp NASW-MN FAQs for a primer!

At Camp NASW-MN, you can fill your time with mindfulness, nature, CEUs, crafts and games. Personalize your experience and engage in what Camp has to offer on your own or with others at any time. Self-care is a key part of social work practice and looks different for everyone - so your itinerary is up to you. Plus, there'll be many opportunities to earn CEUs and win prizes! At least 10 CEUS will be offered - attend as much or as little as you like! Camp NASW-MN is about having a meaningful experience that will leave you rejuvenated. You deserve it.

    Acknowledgement: Camps and Historical Oppression
We must acknowledge the inherent oppression that exists in the history of camps. The summer camp experience and camps in general in the US have roots in racism, sexism, homophobia, classism, ableism and colonialism - and have been used as means to segregate, detain, confine, exploit, and otherwise marginalize or harm. In hosting a camp-like event at a summer camp facility, it’s incumbent upon our organization to recognize the historical and lasting impact of oppression on individuals, families and communities that originated from camps. We always aim to ensure that our events align with our professional and organizational values, and do not contribute to any further harm. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to address your concerns.

Questions about registration, rooms, meals, or other event details?
You’ll find answers in our Camp NASW-MN FAQs. Contact admin.naswmn@socialworkers.org if you cannot find your answers in the FAQs.
