SUMMER CAMP (MORNING) - 17TH - 20TH AUGUST 2026
  • Summer Camp - 17th - 20th August 2026 Morning from 9.30-1.00pm (4 DAYS)

    This camp is for members and non members who were born before 31st December 2019
  • Please note : this camp is for children who were born before 31st December 2019 ONLY

    Please read all the information below before registering.

    This camp will run from Monday 17th to Thursday 20th August for members who were born before 31st December 2019.  Spaces are limited and are on a first come, first served basis only.  

    It is important to note the following before registering :-

    • We operate a drop and go system where Parents drop their child to us outside the front doors, we do not operate a viewing or waiting area for parents/minders.
    • Parents/children will be met at the door by a staff member who will show children where to go.
    • For child protection and safety of all underage users of the facility, we cannot admit adults onto the premises, other than our staff.
    • Camp runs from 9.30am-1.00pm (Monday to Thursday), children will be admitted 5 minutes beforehand and please collect your child on time afterwards.
    • If your child is feeling unwell please do not bring them to the gym as they may be required to sit out and be collected early.
    • Gymnasts should bring a small healthy snack and water, and please remind your child to put their rubbish in their bag and take it home afterwards.  
    • Jewellery, Fitbits, mobile phones and other personal items must not be brought to the gym as they could get lost or broken and we cannot accept responsibility for any items.
    • Leotards are not a requirement but please ensure child wears clothes that are suitable for sports e.g. t-shirt, leggings, shorts and please no dresses, skirts, skorts, jeans, flared or wide pants, crop tops, hoodies, denim shorts, etc.
    • Long hair must be tied back before arriving at the gym.
    • For safety on equipment, children are barefoot throughout the camp.  
    • If your child has any medical or additional needs, it is really important to note it below, this allows for our coaches to plan activities that are suitable.

    Time : 9.30am to 1.00pm

    Fee : €95 for club Members and €110 for non members (includes GI registration and Insurance).  Any cancellations less than 7 days notice prior to the start of Camp will incur a €10 administration fee.

     

    Please note the following:

    NUTS/NUTELLA AND ALL NUT PRODUCTS ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN AS WE HAVE MEMBERS WITH ALLERGIES. 

    No sweets, chocolate, popcorn, chewing gum or fizzy drinks.  

    Parents/Guardians - please ensure you collect your child at the end of Camp at 1.00pm outside the entrance door and please be on time, children often get upset when parents are late and coaches may have other commitments.

    Safety within the gym: Under no circumstances are any children allowed to use the equipment without the specific instruction of their coaches. This is especially important just before camps start or during breaks. Please advise your child of this rule which will again be reinforced by all coaches/management.

    Athlone Gymnastics Club is affiliated to Gymnastics Ireland. All members are required to agree to the codes of conduct and insurance requirements as set out in the Mandatory Membership below and by completing this registration form it indicates you have read and agree to the contents.

    1: MEDICAL INFOMATION

     
    Medical information provided will be treated as private and confidential by both Gymnastics Ireland and relevant member club.

    Not providing consent to share medical information will not affect your membership to the Club, however giving us consent to share this information will help volunteers and administrators to know how to respond effectively in the case of any medical emergency.

    2: MEMBERSHIP OPT-IN AGREEMENT


    By applying for membership of Gymnastics Ireland (GI) through a GI registered club I confirm the following:


    • I understand and agree to abide by the constitution, rules and policies of Gymnastics Ireland, including data protection policies, which can be viewed via the GI website via https://www.gymnasticsireland.com/about/structure-policy.

    • I understand and agree to the responsibilities which I have regarding these policies

    • I have read and understand the privacy notice which can be viewed via the GI website via https://www.gymnasticsireland.com/about/structure-policy/data-protection-privacy

    This details how GI will treat the personal data I have provided to GI and forms part of GI’s data protection policies which are designed to ensure my data is processed in accordance with data protection legislation

    • I agree to allow GI and my member club to contact me in relation to the promotion of the sport of gymnastics and GI member services

    • I agree to allow GI to contact me regarding the services of official GI partners

    • I agree for the club to provide me with updates regarding club activities such as competitions, training, meetings and club events such as fundraising activities and social occasions

    • I consent to photographs or video images being taken of me during my involvement in GI activities, which may be used to promote the sport by the club or Gymnastics Ireland.

    • I consent to the sharing of my personal medical data outlined above for the purposes of delivery of my safe participation in gymnastics and administering medical assistance if required

    • In the event of illness/injury, I give permission for medical treatment to be administered by a nominated first aider, or by suitably qualified medical practitioners. If my next of kin cannot be contacted and I require emergency hospital treatment, I authorise a qualified medical practitioner to provide emergency treatment or medication.

     

  • I understand that it is the Club’s policy not to tolerate unacceptable behaviour from any gymnast towards fellow gymnasts, coaches, staff, officials, opponents, parents, volunteers or any other Club members. The club's behaviour policy is available to read on our website at Club Behaviour Policy  I have read and discussed the Behaviour Policy with my child who has agreed to abide by it.

  • Data Processing and Privacy

    By completing this form you are giving consent to the processing of the data contained therein.

    Where you have given your consent to any processing of personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting administrator@athlonegymnasticsclub.ie

    The withdrawal of consent may impact your membership status with us as it would affect our ability to administer your membership and the sport of gymnastics.
