Embody Elect Program Application
Application Requirements
Embody Elect Program applicants must be at least 9 years of age as of January 1, 2026. If associated with a studio, applicants must have their studio director’s permission to apply. A donation of $25 is required upon submission. This tax deductible donation helps Embody build a need based scholarship fund for dancers unable to afford their convention tuition.

Applicants will be asked to submit a headshot and 4 videos showcasing at least three different styles of dance.

1. Street Style- Dancer performing the 2026-2027 audition combo choreographed by Keenan Cooks (CLICK HERE to view Keenan's audition combo tutorial)
2. Ballet/Jazz- Dancer performing/demonstrating jazz OR ballet technique
3. Contemporary- Dancer performing a contemporary combo with improv
4. Wildcard- Video submission of dancer’s choice
5. Headshot

Results

Our review panel selects dancers based on movement quality, technique, raw performance and how well they align with Embody’s mission. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until May 15th, 2026 OR if the program fills sooner, applications will close prior to the final deadline. Dancers may submit their application at any time and will receive their results as shown below. Applications submitted on the 15th may not receive their results the same day.

First round of result emails: February 15, 2026
Second round of result emails: March 15, 2026
Third round of result emails: April 15, 2026
Final round of result emails: May 15, 2026

Please note, dancers may be waitlisted to the third round of applications. If waitlisted, dancers will be notified via email.

Helpful tip: For the best experience, we suggest completing the application on a laptop or desktop computer. Additionally, to prevent any loss of information due to technical difficulties, consider writing your responses in a separate document and copying them into the application fields when ready.
