Terms & Conditions
Collaborative art: we are both artists, so I'd like for us to cooperate on taking pictures we can both be proud of! I'll provide plenty of posing direction and assistance but if you have any suggestions, please speak up and I'll do my best to incorporate your ideas. I also have all sorts of lighting equipment and editing techniques to help us make some amazing art!
Location: Weather permitting, I prefer to do most shoots outdoors so that we can take off masks and capture your cosplay authentically. If we have to shoot indoors, please understand we may not have the best background/environment (people walking, hallways, masks, etc.), and may be limited in the amount and type of equipment we can use, which can impact the quality of the images.
Rules of the convention: to be respectful to other congoers and staff, let's do our best to follow the rules of the convention. This includes masks and tripod/light stand policies. I cannot guarantee any work that goes beyond these bounds.
Safety: your comfort and safety are of utmost priority to me. If it helps you to have a friend at your shoot, please feel free to bring one (just let me know). Sometimes posing can be a bit tiring, so we'll go at your pace, and if you need a breather, just let me know. If you are interested in a cosplay boudoir shoot, we will establish concepts and boundaries prior to the shoot so that everyone is on the same page and feels safe and respected.
Payment: Full payment is due upon booking, and there are no refunds once your shoot has been scheduled. If you need to cancel your shoot due to illness, acts of God, or some other extenuating reason I deem acceptable, your session can be rescheduled, pending availability, or moved to a future convention within 12 months. Please use this form to submit your payment upon booking.
Logistics: upon submission of this form, we will discuss the specific time, location, and theme for your shoot. The duration of your shoot begins at the scheduled time. If you are late for any reason, that time is deducted from your shoot. If for any reason I am late, that time will not be deducted from your shoot. Please plan accordingly and leave earlier than you think necessary. You never know if the elevator is going to be backed up, or if crowds will impede your travel time. If you are a no-show or otherwise miss the majority of your shoot, you can schedule a new shoot, but will need to pay for a new session.
Images: All images will be captured and edited to taste by the Photographer. My retouching process sometimes includes skin softening and blemish removal. If you'd prefer to not have those edited, or if there are certain things (tattoos, etc.) that you want to remain intact, you must inform me before our shoot. There is no guarantee to the number of images, but I typically try to get at least 10-30 final images. Images should not be cropped or edited for any reason. The watermark should remain intact. If the photo does not fit on Instagram or other platforms, you can use an app like Inshot to add borders to the sides. Printing is allowed, but only for high-res images. These may be purchased à la carte. Slight cropping is allowed on these to accommodate different print sizes. Selling of digital files is not permitted without my express written permission, which will include a licensing agreement and additional fees. Please contact me for a quote if you'd like to sell/post images on sites like Patreon, Fansly, etc. When posting on social media, please tag me @DaryllMorganStudios (and @DM.Boudoir if shooting boudoir). The turnaround time for edits is typically 4-8 weeks, but this can fluctuate depending on my workload. If you'd like to submit your photo(s) to a magazine or competition, please ask me first. Many of theses contests are predatory and wrongly claim ownership of the submitted images. All copyrights and ownership of images belongs exclusively to the photographer. You are welcome to take behind-the-scenes photos and video for social media throughout the shoot - please tag me so I can share too.
Boudoir: boudoir shoots are very similar to standard portraits with a few exceptions. The posing and outfits during these sessions can be more sensual or provocative in nature, but your comfort comes first. We will discuss the expectations for posing, image sharing, tagging, etc. prior to the shoot. Like the other shoots, you are welcome to bring a friend for support. Just let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly. Due to the sensitive nature of these shoots, you will have the option to mark specific images as private in your gallery, so you have control over which images are publicly shared online.
