    How it works

    This bird deterrent system utilizes a set of magnetically attached poles with a high-visibility line strung between them. The system requires no tools for installation and will cause absolutely no harm to your boat lift cover. Birds typically seek unobstructed surfaces that allow them to land and take off freely. Suspended directly above your cover, the tensioned line disrupts this open space. This obstacle makes birds feel threatened and insecure, naturally encouraging them to seek an alternative landing spot.

  • Our team will come and install our boat nest system when the season begins. When the season ends we will come and uninstall the system before you take the dock out of the water.

  • Hello, I'm Will. The CEO of Boat Nest. I'm a dedicated finance major at Trine University who is passionate about entrepreneurship. As a young entrepreneur, I thrive on creating impactful business solutions. Along with my academic pursuits, I play on the soccer team at the university, learning valuable skills such as teamwork and discipline. Outside of academics and sports, I am also a hot air balloon pilot, who loves the thrill of heights.

      • 1. Services

        Boat Nest LLC ("Company") agrees to perform the services described above in a professional and workmanlike manner. Changes to scope require a written change order signed by both parties.

        2. Client obligations

        Client agrees to provide timely access to boat dock area.

        3. Term & termination

        This Agreement initiates when deposit is paid. Either party may terminate within 48 hours of scheduled service via email or text. If the Client terminates for convenience, the $50 deposit is forfeited.

        5. Independent contractor

        The Company is an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of the Client. The Company is solely responsible for its own taxes, insurance, and benefits.

        6. Insurance

        The Company maintains Commercial General Liability Insurance.

        7. Intellectual property

        The Company retains all ownership of all items installed.

        10. Governing law & jurisdiction

        Indiana law governs. Exclusive venue: Hamilton County, Indiana state courts or the S.D. Indiana federal court for any non-arbitrated matters.

        11. Entire agreement

        This Agreement, plus any signed attachments, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions.
