    Rumriver Art Center is seeking artists to exhibit their work in either of our two gallery spaces in 2027. If you have any questions, please email madison@rumriverart.com.
    • August 21st, 2026, at 11:59 pm: Application window closes.
    • September 18th, 2026, by 11:59 pm: Artists will be notified of decision.
    • October 11th, 2026, at 11:59 pm: (accepted artists only) Signed gallery contract and the $50 non-refundable exhibition deposit is due.

  • Do you have a complete body of work that is ready for exhibition, or will you be working on a new body of work?*

  • Some artists like to sell smaller work (‘take-aways’) during their show. These are referred to as take-aways as the buyer can take the artwork home immediately after purchasing it. (Examples of take-aways: prints, stickers, postcards...)

  • Rumriver Art Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and our mission is to make art accessible and create welcoming spaces where creativity, confidence, and connection can grow for people of all ages and abilities.

    We make sure every student has access to creativity, regardless of income or background. ​Our classes are often about 25% lower cost than many other arts organizations​ and have provided thousands of dollars in scholarships.

    ​In the fall of 2025 we opened a sister location in Fridley; Creative Flow Art Center. This building ​has been adapted to be highly accessible and we are ​now able to reach even more youth, families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities across the North Metro.

    Every dollar donated helps us continue to provide affordable classes, scholarships for families, free community art events, and a space for artists to share their stories and creativity.
