This form is for those who are already on the AVPRC register and are applying for or renewing their 2026 Annual Practicing Certificate.

    Public register and information sharing

    By submitting this application, you are agreeing to the  Allied Veterinary Professional Regulatory Council (AVPRC) using your information for the purposes of establishing and maintaining your registration and voluntary regulation.

    You consent to your name, registration number, qualification, and year that you qualified being included in the AVPRC register and published on the AVPRC website. 

    Your information, including your email address, will not be used for marketing or shared with any other entity or person. You can withdraw from the register and have your information removed by emailing register@avprc.org.nz. 

    This information complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

    As part of your fitness to practice, a practising professional must always be able to make safe judgements, demonstrate the level of skill and knowledge required for safe practice, behave appropriately, and not act in ways that adversely impact patient or public safety. If you have any health/mental health conditions or disabilities that may affect the above, please indicate this below. Some conditions you might like to consider are substance use problems (alcohol or drugs); any impairment that has occurred because of substance use; medical conditions affecting motor skills, cognition, or that limit your capacity to practise; mental health conditions that could impair your ability to study or practice.     Registration Badges

    If you would like to order a registration badge please use our registration badge order form here.

    Badges are only available to those on the AVPRC register with verified qualifications and must only be worn by the person to whom it is assigned.

    The fee for the Annual Practising Certificate (APC) is $45 per person/form. AVPRC is a registered charity and the fee covers minimum operating costs for maintaining the register.

    After you have completed the form and the payment has been processed, your submission will be completed and your APC will be emailed to you within four to six weeks.

    A receipt will be automatically emailed to you if you make payment now.

    Email register@avprc.org.nz if this does not happen.

     

    Please note that the AVPRC is not registered for GST.
