Join ISNA Canada, in collaboration with Myra's Art Studio, for a Woodburning & Watercolour Workshop! Happening on Thursdays in January, this three-part series introduces participants to the art of woodburning and the beauty of adding watercolour to their designs.

Class Breakdown
1) Woodburning Basics
Learn how to use the woodburning pen, explore different wood types, and practice foundational techniques such as shading and English/Arabic lettering. Students will create small pieces like coasters, magnets, or bookmarks.
2) Troubleshooting & Creating a Small Sign
Apply skills from Class 1 to create a 7–8 inch wood sign or continue practicing on smaller pieces. This session focuses on refining technique, troubleshooting common mistakes, and working with more detailed designs.
3) Mixed Media: Woodburning + Watercolour
Combine woodburning with watercolour - Participants will explore beginner–intermediate techniques and learn how to add colour to their wood pieces. Watercolour sets will be provided.
